This takes me back to how I got retrenched a month after giving birth to my son.After a hard birth where he spent his first few days in NICU with a nerve injury which possibly meant he might not be able to use his right hand fully. Just when I was digesting that,the retrenchment came along and my world just became dark,but through faith,prayer,support...here we are now,my little human is able to use his hand fully,he can lift it up. Now I see that he needed ME as his mom,the daily hand exercises up to 10 times daily,physio,it needed no one else but me. He was due for surgery in CT but when we got there,the doctors were amazed at how he had gotten so much stronger,so much that he did not need to have the surgery anymore. The retrenchment was a blessing in disguise because had I returned to work,I might have neglected it and we'd be telling a totally different story. uThixo asoze akuyekele nanini na sis Nozi,you're a blessing to many of us,hang in there. Hi Nozi. To be honest, I low-key feel like this message was for me. I have been going through some of the worst few years of my life. I've literally lost everything and I'm only 23. Things have been falling apart right before my eyes and before I could even catch anything it was all gone. My siblings and I have been through the absolute worst and I felt like I had suddenly become a joke. It's been one hurdle after the next and every time I think I've gotten over something, something else pops up. I feel like Moses. God wants me to do all these great things but with what resources? Losing a job is one of the most painful experiences one can go through especially at such a time as this but let me tell you something sis Nozi or anyone that has been going through any hardship. God will not remove you or take something from you without a plan on how you will survive. We may not understand his ways but let us trust him at his word. In Jeremiah 29 vs 11 he says i know the plans i have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you but to give hope and a future. God is faithfull.
