Cape York Part 5... The Final Chapter
Well our Cape York series is coming to a end, spending 7 weeks in total on The Cape feeling like we could of easily spent another 7 weeks in this magical location.
after re living The old telegraph track & the most northerly tip of the Australian continent for the second time in four weeks, we head south.
The episode starts off on The Frenchman's track, a stunning four wheel drive track with forever changing landscapes, beautiful river crossing's & Tranquil campsite's, & definitely the road less travelled to our next location.
Chilli Beach....
Words cant describe Chilli Beach, but ill try.
On the east coast of the Cape, Chilli Beach is located near a small town, Lockhart River where you can stock up on all your supplies (diesel, grocery's & water) before heading out to Chilli Beach.
Chilli beach has to be one of the most picturesque beach's we have ever been to, lined with enormous coconut palms, white sand & turquoise water, a absolute post card location! but before heading out that way be sure to check the weather, because it is also very well known for blowing a gale, & that wind might just ruin your trip.
From there we further continue south through Lakefield National Park & into CookTown.
Enjoy guys,
Rach & Ash
