Thanks. That chicken and sage commercial was very ahead of its time. I enjoyed it. I just enjoy watching Leslie Graves as Brenda. She has such a spirit. I'd never seen Jane Daly as Kelly. She reminds me of Ann Wedgworth, among others. I like her. The guy she's sharing scenes with early on in the episode - she married him in real life. They're still together, according to IMDB. Every time I hear "Lizbeth" I think of Sanford and Son. It's always weird seeing Tonja Walker in a low-key role.

K Pryde yes. "LIZBETH" is what AUNT ESTHER (LAWANDA PAGE) used to pronounce as the name of her sister and FRED's former wife) that brought back memories. i was also a fan of CAPITOL. i fell in love with soaps and still watch them today.

I agree on all your counts. Seeing other soap actors in non-prominent roles is always weird for me too. I have a few things to say about the Chicken and Sage commercial. 1, I haven't had that in years and would love some right now. 2. It aged really well... unlike the Pudding Pop commercial. Leslie Graves was such a beauty that was taken too soon. The fact that she and Bill Beyers passed away 3 years apart from the same disease is almost eerie.

Carolyn Jones left Capitol in February 1983 and died of cancer 6 months later

I would love to see the one hour premiere primetime episode and the first daytime episode to understand the characters better. I've been watching episodes here and there, I've learned a few of them like Thomas the handcapped doctor, which I think that is clever, Wally and Brenda, I'm still trying to learn other characters. Blackmailing scam, I definitely want to know about that, I love blackmailing stoyrlines on soaps that is talked about early in this episode.

It's not this is from 1982. I have this episode and it's definitely not the first episode. Just one of the earliest episode out on the soap trading sites.

Ah, ok! Please post that first episode!!
@soaploversuniversity63348 жыл бұрын
Definitely not. I actually saw the first episode when it originally aired. Julie and Tyler were like Romeo and Juliet. They met at the beginning of the series and the Clegg family was in an uproar that Julie liked Tyler of all people.
