This video is intended to give an overview of capnography. The basic principles, terminology, indications and contraindications, and physics of absorption spectroscopy are discussed. There is also a brief discussion of mainstream vs side stream waveforms. In the coming videos we will get into more detail regarding various aspects of capnograpy.

James Dahmer You don’t have to wait. There’s lot of videos on these topics on KZfaq you can find if you want something more brief. These videos are intended for people of varying levels of training, so I take my time developing concepts.

@@RespiratoryReview sorry sorry I was agro at the moment. what I mean is literally the act of spelling out terms on screen. thats a huge opportunity to reduce time and add condensed value to your videos. Just my opinion and yes I'm an asshole. My apologies.
