@Coerced no, there isn't a rule that says no contact, you get in the "ring" which we call roda, and you play the other person with respect but sometimes people like to play a little hard hitting eachother but also respecting the game which I love that, but sometimes u just don't like someone then u get in the roda n solve your problems in there lol, there are many different kind of games in capoeira all goes with the flow of the music, for me doesn't matter if you hit or not, as long as it resp
