This girl is amazing!!!!! To get every note so clear at this speed, wow...... just blows me away. The only version I've heard that is arguably better is Nicola Hall's, which is the same speed but more expressive. Either way, I would give anything to be one tenth as good as this.

+LiwaywaySaGubat you mean li jie's version?
@hectorgarcia97908 жыл бұрын
+LiwaywaySaGubat : No, the other version is not better. Su Meng's version is more fluent and without extra pauses forced by technical roadblocks (Su Meng can do that because her technique is superb). It is true that the other version may have a better recording quality but if we talk about the guitar execution, Su Meng's version is nothing short of amazing.

Also I feel very cool for having all these likes and comments that started a healthy debate so thank you. It actually cheered me up a bit

violin is far harder lol
@scottdinh51204 жыл бұрын
As someone who plays both, they’re both hard in their own way. You can’t compare them. Violin is hard in the bowing and intonation since it’s not a fretted instrument. Guitar is harder because it’s actually super hard to pluck that fast, and you’re playing chords, so hand position changes have to be accurate and fast.

The first 16 measures I thought: "It's fast, but I could definitely do it, no problem, with a little practice, because I'm a talented classical guitarist." Two seconds after that, when I saw the speed of the position shifts she did, I knew what had to be done. I picked up my guitar, which is not a cheap guitar, mind you. Four figures, FYI. I took a last glance at it, and then, with a swift ninja-like motion, I smashed it to the ground. After that, I went out in my backyard, lit up a bonfire, burned the remains of the guitar until all that was left were ashes. Finally, I called upon the god of Azxes'Cha'chezcktou'cztanerd, with a cantation my hungarian grandmother had taught me that made me forget everything I've ever known about playing the guitar, since I just realised there's no point playing anymore. And I've never looked back. Who are you again, and what the fuck are you talking about?
