My favorite part of the trailer was seeing Sam tear through a fighter jet, while wearing a full-face helmet, and then going supersonic.

You missed the point to when sam said "your right, I'm not" meaning he doesn't need to be Steve Rogers. He himself is enough, that's what he means. It doesn't matter is anyone can be Steve Rogers just as no one can be the real falcon.
