Marvel riding off the hype of Deadpool and Wolverine by dropping this trailer which is smart imo. 8 months out before ways to go but it’s never too early to get us hyped/excited about what’s to come after D&W. I thought this teaser was amazing! More grounded. Navigating into another political thriller. My boy Giancarlo doing this thing. And I agree with Dust. I love the first 3 Captain America movies,the best trilogy from the MCU. Very much looking forward to this!

I don't much about this character, but he becomes director of Shield and has a huge connection with Cable and the X-Men characters, which is awesome! Then I realized Deadpool & Wolverine opened the same weekend as Comic-Con, so this trailer will play before the movie. When this trailer popped on my youtube feed notification I was like oh yeah. Everything about this trailer looked good. The opening style sequence again to X2: X-Men United but this time with Carl Lumbly's Isaiah Bradley trying to assassinate the President of the US is so staged by Samuel Sterns aka The Leader who I feel is the big bad as he does narrate halfway through the trailer. He is using Thaddeus Ross as a Tool for his bidding to create his version of a Brave New World. To me Sterns is the Aldous Huxley of the MCU.

0:40 I think they released it before comiccon so that it can play before Deadpool & Wolverine..., similar to what they did with Avatar 2 - Doctor Strange 2..., many people will go watch D&W in theaters which will benefit BNW as well, cause people will then rise their interest towards the next MCU film. That female character in the interrogation room is Sabra from the comics who is portrayed by Shira Haas. The Giancarlo Esposito's George Washington Bridge is a mercenary maybe working for maybe The Serpent Society. His scenes were part of the reshoots. I think we will get he duo dynamic of Cap-New Falcon as well as Shira Haas's Sabra with the Secret Service Agent character as teased in this trailer. Roza Salazar also appeared with Esposito in The Maze Runner portraying his onscreen daughter so I am curious if Diamondback and Bridge will share any scenes. I understand Seth Rollins WWE Superstar was set to appear in this film as well part of the Serpent Society but his scenes is said to be cut from the film.

I'll watch it for Red Hulk and the Leader since it has been long overdue for these characters to be adapted into live action, but it is such a strange direction to go since Bruce is personally more connected to Ross and Sterns from The Incredible Hulk film, and yet he is not gonna be in the one film where those two alongside Betty (his actual love interest) return in major roles?

My early theory is that Sam Wilson is caught in the middle between Ross and The Leader. Ross and The Leader are the ones going back with Sam as the “pawn“ in the middle. Isaiah Bradley might have been triggered by The Leader to kill Ross. No proof just my early guess lol

This film feels like "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," turned up to Eleven, I will say objectively though Marvel Studios said in this teaser: "You need to see 'Falcon and The Winter Soldier ' to understand what is going on here." I am on the fence about the involvement of Red Hulk, but I will hold my criticisms until after I see the film.

I hope this movie is good. A lot of people are rooting for this movie to fail. I think the trailer looks solid but I’m going to have to see more to convince me to watch this

I await seeing Harrison Ford as Red Hulk, the return of Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns (now Leader) from Incredible Hulk, Giancarlo Esposito’s character (rumored to be George Washington Bridge), seeing Sam Wilson as Captain America, and seeing a return visit to Tiamut Island from Eternals and resolving that plot point, at least going off two shots in the trailer, including the last shot before the end shot of Red Hulk being teased. But it’s too bad this movie will have hate because of negative test screenings, 3 weeks of reshoots due to those test screenings, hate over Sam Wilson becoming Captain America, and of course, as Hector of Heroes Reforged mentioned, the inclusion of Sabra/Ruth-Bat because of the actress’s stance on the Gaza crisis being toward in favor of Israel and against Hamas/Palestine. Hopefully, people will let it go, if they’re deciding to turn Sabra/Ruth-Bat into a Black Widow agent rather than an IDF Jewish Israeli hero.

The trailer was pretty dope like it has its own tone. The CGI is not good but they’ll fix it for sure. They also rewrote the whole script of the film.
