It's still so crazy to think the Captain discovered the Leaders before most of Japan did. They only became household names in Japan half a year after this video.

This is amazing. I can't believe I only found it 9 months later. I really wish KZfaq's algorithm is better at highlighting content from amazing creators like CD who by nature can't upload as much.

We don't get to see Captain upload as often as before, but the production quality on these videos are so high you can't even be mad.

What I can really appreciate is that Captain went through the painstaking process of creating 3D heads of Mizyu and Kanon instead of just going the Holly route.

He even silvered up his belly for the inevitable t-shirt-climb during the dance routine. This is called professionalism.

This video. Jesus Christ. I don't even know what to say. There aren't enough superlatives. The amount of work, research, knowledge, skill and creativity is just next level. It also made me realize that for some reason, i haven't watched any music videos in years. Probably because watching MTV on the television isn't a thing anymore.

Seriously, you couldn't have done a better collab with anyone else. Atarashii Gakko is so full of energy and spontaneity. A perfect fit for the creativity involved in VFX.

I literally just found out about Atarashii Gakko! Just a few minutes ago. I really enjoy their dance practice for CANDY. It gave me some massive childhood nostalgia vibes of playing the first two Bust-A-Groove games. Then I suddenly see a recommended video of them with Captain Disillusion. This is like the jacked version of learning a new word and then suddenly hearing it everywhere.

Wonderful. You are a true artist. And by that I mean you constantly overburden yourself with demands of higher quality in a quest for a perfect vision that only you can truly apprehend and work tirelessly until you have driven yourself and e everyone around you slightly mad. The anime ending is so fucking awesome.

The amount of work gone into this by the group and CD, interns and help from Discord is mind boggling to the extreme. I'm genuinely curious how this collaboration happened, like who contacted who first? I have a hard time imagining Captain Disillusion messaging a Japanese school girl Jpop group and have an even harder time imagining a Japanese school girl Jpop group messaging Captain Disillusion.

This is easily the best "making of" video that's ever been made. It's a really great format for Captain D to show off his high technical skills but also his very enjoyable presentation skills. Also the band is very charismatic and it looks like they are having a lot of fun with the big D. I hadn't heard of Atarashii Gakko before, they are a solid pop group.

Captain D had some great tongue in cheek humor about how long this stuff actually took him, but I still think he's way underselling it. To do this with such a small crew is an absolutely monumental feat that can not be overstated. Captain... DO YOU SLEEP?!
