Firing up the Allen Models Fitchburg Northern Live Steam Locomotive

6 жыл бұрынGlenn Swain fires up the Allen Models Fitchburg Northern at the Orange County Model Engineers club track in Costa Mesa, CA. This logging-style 7.5" gauge locomotive was built by Erin Swain and Jack Sessums, with help from Glenn Swain. The engine was designed by Capt. Tom Rhodes using Allen Models Chloe parts with the pilot truck from the Consolidation. Allen Models offers the plans and castings for this wonderful little engine at allenmodels.com/

I was a conductor in 2011 and 2012 at the Orange County model engineer club. These trains are amazing. A lot of great experiences volunteering there specially on the meets and the time we got to give family rides on the weekend good memories.

This is fantastic! I love that I can just go "hey, I wonder if live steam trains exist in this exact size", do a quick search, and not only do they exist, but they're beautifully detailed and there's really high quality footage of them in action. You've got a delightful little railway here.
