Anyone else notice how Barry begins to mouth the words when Dick begins to say the story about his time in the military...obviously he’s heard these stories before...LOL...precious! 🤗

the message this film sends to viewers and even the world is amazing. we need to recognize and remember our veterans and what they stand for today. and the things they still do...staying proud and dignified with each step they take and with every flag they raise. Thank you veterans for all that you do for us (teachers, parents, friends, the whole world) because without your bravery and sacrifice many of us would not be here. thank you for your service

I really hope me and my Mum get to both still be around at their ages, she was younger than Dick was when Barry was born, so maybe we will... She's actually Barry's age now.

Is this video being made? was it made? what is its status??? I am a veteran, and the original short film says volumes in such a short span of time, that its impossible to put into words. It needs made and seen, please.

@@Brothers-ink I REALLY hope you guys get the funding. You have to make this into a movie. I'm only 14 years old but Dick Van Dyke is one of my all time favorite actors and it would mean the world to me to see him in my local movie theater. I'm not sure what it is, but there is something about seeing him that you can't help but make you smile. I agree with the idea of a Go Fund Me page, that could probably get you a lot of money for the picture, I'm not sure the WHOLE picture but a good amount. No matter how you get it, this movie sounds amazing and I hope that you will get it made. Thank you so much.
