Wondering if you could use a heat gun to soften the plastic thus allowing it to get rid of the wrinkles (low heat of course)

I'm all about detailing and keeping my car tip top shape but a showcase bubble may be a bit over the top for me. I mean your car is now a bubble boy and all the cars at the car meet will make fun of him....

I am curious to wonder if there is a filter on the inlet for the air because would think dust can get sucked in.

Yes, there is a filter and then screen on the fan. These guys thought of everything. The air recirculates out the zippers as they aren't air tight. I think a lot this stuff happened by accident, but it's a pretty ingenious design.

Looking good Matt! Small Tip - keep the two zipper meet ups at the top so it will alleviate any way for critters to sneak in.

That show case car capsule is sweet would love to have one of those to stop the cars from getting so dusty when I put them back in the garage. That seems better than a garage almost because you are isolating the car.

Only problem with backing it in is the exhaust on the plastic. It could melt if you leave the car on. Just something to be careful of. But that thing is pretty cool! I know you wanted one at sema and unfortunately it was rats that made you get one.

I thought of a suggestion, not sure if it's possible or how practical it is, but to eliminate the wrinkles, would it work to steam them? Not sure why but figured I'd throw that thought out there, but I feel like it might be a stupid suggestion

I really hope that theres a cat-back that is released, that you would like to put on your Mustang. The resonator delete really emphasized the raspy tin effect of the exhaust piping......in my opinion. Love the capsule

This will be perfect in places with high humidity. Ive seen a garage shop where they keep the lambos inside it. The owners get to pay extra for the storage.

Do you think maybe using a steamer on the plastic will help with the wrinkles? The hot steam should relax the plastic since it was packaged really tight.

How well is it working out for you so far? I spray wax my car every time it goes out and wipe down the engine etc. Is your car more clean then before?

It has a pressure switch. Mine only turns on once or twice a week.

Can you attach a trickle charger to the battery while it's in there or would that be dangerous?

You can with no issues. The fan circulates the air that escapes through the zipper.

To get the wrinkles out I would get a steam iron and some thick towels in between the iron and plastic and run it over the see through plastic. Should get rid of the wrinkles.

That case looks cool Matt. Is the plastic thick? Does it seem like it can withstand wind and possibly twigs/rocks hitting it and not cutting through?

It's super tough. You could fire a rock as hard as you could, and it should bounce right off.

That's such a great solution in your case. Wasn't cheap but it's totally worth the investment after hearing what the insurance picked up on the GT3. That was insane! I'm with you about the logo on the front, it's cool on the sides but too much in the front.

I'm no mouse but could they possibly get through the zipper being down at the bottom of the opening? Or maybe a raccoon? That is if the frequency of the fan doesn't really keep them away. But like I said, I'm no mouse or raccoon. I'm just a guy with OCD towards little things like that, which I have tendency to over think:) I never knew about these showcase bubbles but now I feel like I need one

I have a GT350, so I was wondering what size capsule you bought, It's a near perfect fit which looks great. I think getting one that's too big won't have the same effect. Thanks in advance!

I have a Maserati Quattroporte and leave it outside under a car cover in Central Florida and notice the interior leather and plastics melting within 1 year of getting the car. If I buy an outdoor car capsule will it keep the interior in a cooler condition to stop further melting ? Or not at all ? Thank You! Love your channel.

No problem running over the zipper track? I suppose it must be made of something durable. Just wonder if over time it gets dinged up and if that would mess up the closure? Love your videos. U should probably trade in the old raptor for the 17' :)

I want to point out that maybe since you wash your cars a lot there, some water may get trapped under the showcase and not evaporate properly and then you'll have mold growth under it.

Matt, it looks great! Hope it helps keep the critters away. Also the wide angle of the truck and the car @ 7:54 in the foreground reminds me of the collectible toy cars in those plastic cases. What happens if you lose power? I imagine it would deflate. I would think that touching your car would drive you crazy? Is there a battery backup option I wonder?

The columns would stay inflated for weeks, so that is unlikely to happen.

That sounds good, My area is rarely not windy and if i got one that it would stay still long enough to get a car into it. Looks good, you will have to do a follow up review after a little while so that we can see how its holding up and how long till the windows unwrinkled.

My first impression is that that zipper sounds plastic and it seems like it would be ruined when you run over it a few times. That things really cool but seems kind of gimmicky. Do you still have it and does it work well for you?

I still have it. I've learned you need to pull toward you when zipping it up. The zippers are really stout.

I think you could get the wrinkles and the stickers off(if thats what they are) with a hair drier. I wouldn't use a heat gun i would be too scared to burn a hole in it i would still be careful even with the hair drier if it's too strong

Be careful with the wind, I am not familiar with the car capsule, but it's a tall object with little aerodynamics :P Maybe the slight pump it has can hold its own against the wind, but try it with something you don't car about in it first!

why not put some siding on that carport and over head gate.. just make at concrete pad next to i and park the trailer there.. then you have a safe and easy garage for both cars

BTW you and I have a mutual friend. Actually, he's a customer of mine but consider him a friend. I was at his place and mentioned this this crazy guy that is obsessed with his Porsche and Mustang. And the first words out of Larry Nolen's mouth was you're talking about Matt with the blue GT3. Larry as you know has both a white GT3 and a red GT3, I belive he mentioned he was at your place a few months back.
