That van was very old, of course, but they never do seem to age well. They appear to start rusting quicker than any other model vehicle.

I think it's because they're usually a fleet vehicle so they aren't as well taken care of. The other ones were somebody's car, but the van was just a company vehicle, nobody really cared about it

These cars and trucks are from the salt/rust belt. By the time these vehicles get this old and used up here, there is seldom much of anything good left on or in them. Salt and winter roads are definitely not a good environment for the long term survival of vehicles!

Trucks and vans, in general, always seem to rust out faster than passenger cars...and Dodge seems to rust out faster than GM or Ford vans...I've even seen some of the newer Sprinter vans that looked far worse than that Tradesman...

The Ford Pinto came out in 1971 however the station wagon model wasn't introduced until 1972. It has the smaller non five mile per hour bumpers. So the station wagon that was crushed as either a 72 or 73 model

Yet another super creepy looking van meets its demise. It would've made a great slasher/serial killer/abductor themed horror movie prop. Maybe it actually was in real life, in which case this is a fitting demise.

@@tomrogers9467 It makes my skin crawl. There was a scary guy who used to drive around town where I grew up in as decrepit of a van as that one. I don't know whether he actually was a creep or pedo, but all the parents told us kids to avoid him.

The small British car is an MG Midget. Believe it or not, one could have rebuilt that. It would not be economically viable though.

My dad use to live in Mexico in the mid 2000s and heard that previous gang members were crushed inside a 🚗 at a junk yard. Kinda glad I live here in the U.S Don’t join the cartels
