As an Italian who has been to the US many times, I can say that Americans tend to be less careful to clean their personal belongings compared to Italians. Take for example moquette, it is a dangerous thing for our health, since it contains bacteria and mites, and in American houses it’s pretty common to have moquette even on the toilette!

Well... I assume it's kind of like earth worms. It's sort of both. Dirt is just broken down organic matter. Digestion is the process of breaking down substances into simpler substances.. and the result, when the food is leaves, grass, other organic matter, is brown stuff we call dirt. People eat meat and other stuff, so our poop has more bacteria and other nasty stuff (from what I understand), but yeah... dirt.. worm poop.. all the same.

hi! i know this is an older video, but for any new viewers who are curious, those maggots are highly likely to be Carpet Beetles! they feed on human food, carpet fibers, and other clothing fibers, and they live in dark fibrous places like beneath rugs. they dont bite, but once theyre established, thats it. theyre extremely hardy and can survive a lot of chemicals. this family has likely brought them into their home and will bring them back to that car. the car will never be clean again :) yes, i speak from experience. they are not fun.

I like how people have jobs like this and have a platform making money offline and online, this person helps people and makes their life totally more stressful. And on top of that does not gossip or call them out on how they should be cleaning up after themselves, we are humans and certain points in our life can be bad but we have to learn everyone cannot deal with cleaning on a 24/7 basis, i thank this lovely person for helping and being a decent human cause this is incredible and good work.

Hey, man I love your videos! I've been watching for years and it's been awesome to see you get better and better. I've got a little tip for using the pressure washer for floor mats and carpets, if they're out of the car: Hang them up against a wall or a fence to pressure wash them! It makes it so much faster, since you have gravity helping you. When they're on the ground, you have to spend a lot more time to push out the dirt and soap with the water. If they're vertical it helps a lot, in fact, I don't use the extractor at all on mats, since they can be removed and hung up and pressure washed. Just soap, brush and blast! Plus it helps them dry faster if you let them hang for a while after rinsing, because more water runs out.

After finding those bugs, I would have pulled the whole carpet to make sure I got every last one, and then sprayed the whole floor pan down with a disinfectant as well as the carpet! EDIT: I see that's basically what you did. Good job!

In their defense it was under the panels where you couldn't see it. If you look at the before shots the car interior really isn't that bad save for some stains and food crumbs which are pretty normal if you have kids. You'd think someone would have noticed the maggots crawling through the floor though hehe

Holy cow!!! You did an amazing job with this vehicle. We no longer have small children in our household, but I still have our Odyssey detailed every year just to keep it in superb shape. Even then, it's amazing just how much dirt a vehicle acquires in a year's time of normal use.
