Birlaji during first 2 tests the cooling fan was running but at final test (silver colour sheet) the cooling fan was off (as AC was off) that's why the reading was low😅

Have anyone noticed the trick????? When measuring decibel value for “without insulation “ and “partial insulation” the driver was inside the car cabin for acceleration to get high and low decibel value….but when measuring decibel value for “last test“ the driver was not inside the car cabin for acceleration so we can only measure low decibel value…I guess mr.Birla is promoting car sense…. @Birlas Parvati can u clarify this ??

Bro, in last test (moco) there is no person in driver seat. Please follow exact same procedure while testing all scenarios. Otherwise people lose their trust slowly.

As you said, 3 cylinder engine makes more noise and it evident inside the cabin but you tested outside the car, who’s gonna sit in the bonnet? After the insulation whether the sound transfer inside the cabin or not, you should have tested inside the cabin not outside the cabin sir. Other glitch in installing this sheet is how the engine temperature maintained inside the engine bay? How it’s maintaining the temperature inside the engine bay whether it’s increasing the temperature inside the engine bay or reducing after installing the thermo sheets ? What we need is simple 1. Cabin insulation noise which means inside the car not outside the car 2. How well the engine heat it transfers inside the engine bay

Appreciate the effort, but such experiments should happen in an ideal environment, without any external noise (too much noise in the background, so a sensitive device like decibel meter would capture everything), the min/max value should have been captured by revving the engine to a certain RPM in all three scenarios, and the readings should be taken externally and inside the cabin as well. 6K is overrated if the cabin is not good enough to arrest exterior noises, wind noise, tyre noise. May not make much difference.

In the last test the engine was idling and it’s obvious there’s no driver to rev the engine. The result is just not conclusive and not believable at all. And even in the second test the difference in decibel is negligible. I don’t think it’s safe to cover the entire under part of the hood like that, there might be safety concerns. Even cars from the factory, oem soundproofing will only be present in the middle portion of the underside of the hood. Rest portion will be left free. Very half baked promotional videos from you recently.

Only reduced 14% of noise is unnecessary… sometimes it may lead to rust formation in the hidden places of the bonnet. Instead doing this upgrade try to maintain your Vechile properly by changing lubes, filters, spark plugs every 10k or 1 year to keep your car running smoothly without any issues.

The whole point of insulation is to mitigate sound that enters inside the car. Why would you test with the db meter outside. There are environmental sounds that add to it. The radiatior fan was off on the third test. Please don’t be this inconsistent for the sake of promoting a store or a product. Stuff like this would only downgrade your channel more. Please be genuine.

Hi brother, I like your videos generally. However, in this, 1. didn’t like the way you rounded off values in favour of damping sheets as if like promoting .. like e.g., 80.3 without damping you say its 81… with first damping, you say max value as 77 when it reads 77.8, and min value as 65 when it reads 65.5 🙄… 2. Also for final damping, since there was no driver, many like me would have got a doubt when was the car started Humble request to try and show us experiments the same way you do before and after. Also be specific with values.

You have to try high end tyres like Michelin, continental. Because it has more silicone, tyre will be softer. So road noise will be reduced a lot. But life will be little less when compared to hard tyres.

@@sudhan152 if you're budget is less, better go with bridgestone (b290, sturdo) soft tyres. Comparatively less amount than Michelin. But you can't expect noise reduction like Michelin but 70% of sound will be reduced.
