There’s some confusion about what happened to my old car so hopefully I can explain it here! After the accident in April I had to submit pictures of the damage to the other persons insurance in order to get a quote on how much it would cost to fix. They took awhile to review the damage and get back to me. While I was waiting on them I drove my car unaware that the tires were bald. Insurance got back to me and I made an appointment to bring the car into a repair shop and the day before I was supposed to bring it in I got a flat tire that I had to fix and was made aware of the bald tires. They told me it would take a month to repair so insurance paid for me to drive a rental car. A month went by and I got a call saying the car was totaled. Insurance reimbursed me after taking the car and then I bought my current car :) hope this made sense and thank you for all the love!! My new car works great and I’ll be doing a car tour soon enough ;)

Toyotas are the best! It’s advised NOT to buy those bling stickers for the steering wheel in the case that your airbag deploys. The crystals can seriously injure you. You made a good choice Halie

When you all walked out of the dealership that wouldn't haggle on the price, two salesman walked out the front door and I thought for sure they were going to tell you to come back. I was wrong. 😒 Still glad you found your car! Aaron and Max are always good to have along on car shopping trips!

Always have Max assisting in car buying. He has the right attitude. Also, all that sparkle and bling stuff can be accessorized on a good, reliable car. Mercedes/BMW repairs are too expensive, good advice to avoid.

Well done Halie, Toyotas are reliable cars they have very good engines, i remember one of my first cars was a Toyota Corolla a very long time ago and I’m 54 now and still think it was one of my most reliable cars i owned and i could even do my own services on it because back then it was simple. I hope you enjoy your new car for a long time.

It really amazes me when dealerships won’t negotiate. No negotiation no deal 🤷‍♀️ especially because cars are so ridiculously priced nowadays

My Grandpa took me to go car shopping for my first time and protected me from the shark sales man. I had to buy my new car all by myself a year ago after unexpected car issues; he was so proud. He passed away a couple months ago. This video made me miss him so much ❤ Max reminds me of him, his love for cars!

Halie, I bought a brand new Corolla in 2007. I still have it at 279,201 miles. One problem after a year the computer went out. That’s it. They paid in full. We are now looking for a replacement. Very very happy with Toyota.

I would suggest you look at rental companies. They take great care of there cars and after a certain amount of miles they put them up for sale.

If your Toyota Corolla is anything like mine from 2005 - bought it used in 2010 - you are going to love it!! ❤ Mine has never failed me. It always starts and I have never had to get anything mayor repared. Only like breaks and stuff that you expect to wear out. And I still have it - 18 years old and it drives like new. 😊👍 Just got new tires on last month and the mechanic was like don't sell your car, it is so good. My next car is definitely going to be a Toyota too. If not a Corolla then maybe a Avensis or whatever they have as a hybrid or electric. But not planning on getting a new car for the next 2-4 years and maby even longer. Enjoy your Corolla 🎉🎉🎉

My last 3 cars, I went to the Credit Union, check to see what I could afford, then I told them what I wanted and they went out looked, told me what they found, and brought the car to me. I signed and the car was mine. I will continue to buy it that way as long as they continue that service.🚙

I have a mild intellectual disability myself like your sister and niece and I know how to use the jacks and a flood wrench to change a flat tire and check the engine out the brake fluid, power Steering fluid, windshield wiper fluid, and the Antifreeze to keep the car from overheating! I live in New Mexico so in Albuquerque we got public transit City bus and Rail runner and taxi cabs!!

I have a 2003 Toyota rav4 and it’s still alive and running with no problems. also have a 2023 Toyota corolla hatchback, and I love it as well. My whole household we own Toyota and we have no problems with our cars.

Toyotas are great cars they Last a long time.

Hondas and Toyotas are both expensive because they’re very well made and typically need very little maintenance. They also last FOREVER…it’s not uncommon to get 300k miles out of them. My mom only buys Honda Accords and I now also have a Honda Pilot and bought my daughter a Honda Civic. They’re amazing vehicles

Toyota and Hondas are the most reliable. Or Audi and VW but the maintenance can be a lot. But always check dents by a mechanic up on the rack as the frame can be cracked and it can have a totaled or salvage title..

Hope you enjoy your new car! It's a shame you couldn't get the Honda that you liked for a good deal, but I think its good that you went for Max's recommendation for reliability in the end! I know someone who had that Honda model you looked at and it had endless issues, so although I have no experience of Toyotas, it sounds like a good pick. And I'm sure you can find yourself some sparkly decorations and pink stuff for your car if you want to glam it up a bit!

I never had anything but Toyotas. Camrys are best. Always buy extended warranty also. My Son had a Nissan and it’s cost a lot of more on repairs. By the time you see this I’m sure you bought a car. Always check and see if there is any recalls. Very important
