I had the same problem and it turned out that the battery was dead. Just like that- compleatly empty. I changed it and everything was ok.

Had the same issue knew it was not the battery as was relatively new . The key was pretty damaged buttons missing just used the key in the lock . Used the spare key started immediately so pleased I saw you video absolutely brilliant thanks pal

I have this issue right now. I'm going back to the car with the spare key - I hope it works! A mechanic said try the jump lead to charge the battery so that will be my second course of action. I'll let you know if it works. I reallllly hope it does!

My key will manually unlock the doors and when I put it in the car the radio and stuff will come up…but when I turn it all the way my car alarm dies off and the car will not start. I got a new battery for the key fob but it isn’t working when I press the lock button. Do you think I need to buy a new key?

Oh my god this has happened to me car not starting, was charging phone. RAC stated bmc fault, others transponder. I will attempt battery change as this deteriorates quite fast whilst in car trying other resets.

Hello. I had such a problem. Chevy impala 2014 did not start intermittently. The ignition clicked, the anti-theft mode turned on. The problem was in attaching the battery ground wire to the car body. The nut was badly tightened from the factory! The connection got very hot and that was the problem. Look for it along the path of the ground wire from the battery.

I didn’t want to take my car to a professional to change that battery so I tried to do it myself. I located it then took both head light out to make room I also took a clear box out that had blue juice in it. I did make a mistake an I took a pump thing out an can’t get t back in. I was confused but I got the battery out an new one in. It’s sparkling like crazy for some reason I think it needs to warm up.mike helped with the pumps I accidentally took out. I went to start an giant parks fly away. I checked my tire level with a meter an that’s ok but still sparks. I’m gonna work on it tomorrow Mike said it’s probably a bad connection with the radio motor we’ll see

I keep having this problem randomly, the message comes on and then goes away after taking the keys out. Doesn’t happen too often. Even happens in situations I know that no one was near the truck at all

It can't be the battery as I changed it less than 6 months ago. I can't check the spare key as it's at home and I'm still at work which is a 20 minute drive
