ABOUT CARACAL
Beginning in 2003, a team of leading European weapon designers, in cooperation with UAE professional weapons users, developed a range of modern pistols incorporating a high content of innovative solutions, protected by internationally registered patents and verified successfully through independent tests.
The final product was subjected to grueling tests, carried out by the Federal German Armed Forces Testing House WTD91 in Meppen, Germany. These included metallurgic and composite analysis, functional fitness-for-purpose and quality evaluation, endurance firing, environmental exposure, safety and accuracy tests.
The Caracal comprehensively passed and its compliance with the NATO D14 test criteria, along with that of the German TA Police Standard and the Federal Armed Forces Technical Purchasing standard.
The company was officially launched during the 2007 IDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

Caracal currently sells products to civil and government customers in the Middle East region, Europe, Asia and South Africa. Consistent with the company’s growth strategy, Caracal began selling products in the US market in early 2012.
CAPABILITIES
Caracal has the manufacturing capability to produce 40,000-50,000 guns each year. Of that, we hope to sell approximately 10,000 units in the US annually.
Caracal products are designed and manufactured in the UAE. We have also a manufacturing capability in Germany, if there is demand.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Caracal’s products were tested by several users worldwide, and all of the feedback was very positive. Ideas for improvements are constantly taken into account and are flowing back into the product development.
Tests have been carried out on Caracal’s products by the Federal German Armed Forces Testing House WTD 91 in Meppen, Germany. This included metallurgic and composite analysis, functional fitness-for-purpose and quality evaluation, endurance firing, environmental exposure, safety and accuracy tests.
This certification fully certifying the Caracal Pistol to be in compliance with test criteria of NATO D14, TA police and the German Federal Armed Forces Technical Purchasing standard.
