If you do more, I'd love to see you make an epic take on the "Great Monster War March" from some of the older films. Maybe try out some other classic themes like Mothra's theme as well but it's up to you. I'm just glad that between the Monsterverse and Minus 1 Godzilla is not only out of hibernation but bigger and wider reaching than ever before. It's a great time to be a fan of the King of the Monsters.

2 themes I could see working well in the Dark Souls format are definately Rodan's MV Theme and Godzilla Earth's theme

Let's see: in the Showa series, the second Godzilla got successfully buried under an avalanche. In the Heisei series, Biollante in tandem with the man-made bacteria has tired him out into a retreat. One could say that the duel with Mecha-King Ghidorah ended with a tie but again, the main objective of chasing Godzilla away was met. Mothra and Battra also beat him, even if Battra was killed in action. Millennium series: GMK Goji got beaten there too. Maybe not killed since it would be clear that over time he'd regenerate but we're talking defeats here, not strictly killings of G's. Kiryu ultimately beat his opponent as well, carrying 'im out into a trench. In the anime trilogy, Godzilla Filius was outright killed. In SP, Godzilla Ultima was also ultimately (pun intended) beaten as well, even though the victory as costly. Shin Godzilla remains frozen due to the coagulant and the Minus One Goji got his head blown clean off. Those are only clean defeats when the respective movies ended with Godzilla having been beaten. Now if we'd add the times that Godzilla WOULD'VE been beaten ON HIS OWN without help from humans or another kaiju, that list would've been even longer. I'll see myself out.
