This is astonishingly great. Blows my mind every time I listen. Every musician on that stage is a superstar. Anyone who says "Jazz is dead" isn't paying attention.

A masterclass in creating small cohorts within the ensemble; orchestrating on the fly. Each player is an accomplished soloist but has even more fun interacting with their band mates. Such a fine example of the best of the best listening first and serving the music. 👏👏👏

Herlin is great here. He could swing the whole country. A New Orleans drummer swinging a 'swing to bop' quintet. Everyone here is marvellous. Outstanding work by all.
