In terms of sway you need to look at the level of the van it should be level or slightly nose down. If you get sway and have electric brakes you should not brake the car but should brake the van using the manual braking function on your brake controller.

Oh my gosh you guys male me laugh! Practical and informative thank you. We did have what I call a “pack & pull” caravan for about 10 years that had everything in it like you said. Now we have a smaller 4wd hybrid van with a twin axle, which helps with weight and swaying. Have reduced everything right down now and as we camp with our family and grandkids have realized that I don’t have to have everything just in case my kids need it - they can sort it themselves! 😂😂

Sue, that ball weight joke went straight over his head! Well I think you meant it as a joke! And I read below me where Anthony wants Deryck to eat more veg and less meat. Whereas I would like to see you both to eat more meat and no sugar or carbs so you both loose a heap of weight. You both would feel a heap better. But it's your life. I lost 30kg in 3mths without blinking or exercising. I feel 10x better now. Will get back to loose some more soon. Got to take it slow. 😊 And yes, what was your last point, Sue?

Thanks Clissa, really appreciate that! Ahaha yes the ball weight went straight over his head 😂 yes the more meat low carb works well. For me I can't have the meat as I have PCOS and don't break it down well but plant protein and low carbon works. Pretty much a vegetarian or piscatorial dirt. A few weeks in and I'm 8.5kgs down and determined to keep going. Thanks so much for the comment and advice! Oh and the final learning is travel changes how we shopnfor food! So very appropriate to the topic! I have had to learn to buy vegetables and fruit that have a longer shelf life, like root vegetables, capsicums, pumpkin, Carrots, turnips, cabbage lasts longer too! @@suelandolt6840 Congrats on the weight loss. 8.5kg is not to be sneezed at! I thought you were looking a bit thinner in the videos. Can you eat eggs? Some people eat heaps of eggs. I wonder about eggs and living in a caravan though. They take up a lot of space. I am taking caravaning notes furiously. My turn comes next year! I'm not sure I can do it as I can't sleep unless I shower first. A lot of standing water like in dams and still rivers don't have very nice water so no point bathing there. Still looking into options like using those sponge towels. Other than that I think I am getting it sorted.

For working on the road, make sure you ha e a comfortable seat to sit on, starlink is a game changer as you can travel just about anywhere, and plan your move times carefully. It's really tricky Mo ING during g the week if you are in a caravan park as ha e to leave by 10am but can't check in until 2pm! You can park up in a pit or open parking between but need to plan. Make sure your inverter is big enough to power starlink and your laptop,. And that's about it! Otherwise great to be able to work and travel!

Hi Andrew, yes absolutely, we drank from ours and didn't taste difference but we use an inline filter and a filter on our sink. We didn't drink straight from the bag!

Thanks guys appreciate the feedback! Aaah the last learning is travel changes how we shop for food! I have had to learn to buy vegetables and fruit that have a longer shelf life, like root vegetables pumpkin, carrots, turnips, parsnips, cabbage, beetroot, apples etc as they last longer in the fridge between towns. And storing them correctly to get the most out them!

Sue, we've followed you and Derek for yonks and know you've done sessions on the internet and Nighthawk etc etc, but as a 3 1/2 day online worker, I would be interested in having Derek film you whilst you're working (allowing for confidentiality of course), so we can see your actual work set up. I find I take over the whole table. How do you manage? Thanks.
