This eight-part, new-onset diabetes video series is used by Beaumont Health, along with the Managing Childhood Diabetes binder and the hospital educational checklist. Children must consume a healthy diet including carbohydrates, proteins and fats after being diagnosed with diabetes. Our dietitian will review how to read food labels and count carbohydrates for both mealtimes and snacks.
