Carbon Cub Basics: Landing

Landing the Carbon Cub is easy and straightforward. The only thing unfamiliar pilots may find difficult to adapt is the low speed at which the landing occurs. The aircraft is lightweight and very stable at slow speeds, so an approach below 50 mph is perfectly normal. The Carbon Cub inspires confidence, and it may well be the easiest tailwheel airplane to takeoff, fly and land.

Why are the aerofoil spats over the shock absorbers at very different angles?

I think it has to do with the spiraling slip stream coming off the prop

This plane 30 flaps around a 45 turn isn't too bad as long as you keep a eye on your speed

Why not? There’s absolutely no safety of flight or operational reason I can think of not to move flaps while the airplane is turning.

LightSport and kit planes still typically use MPH when talking about speed. Very common.
