You lose the heated wheel option because that is a special heat tape that is wrapped under the outer covering of the stock wheel. With CF or wood you lose that ability. I like it and I have the CF dash panel (which you will love, I promise). I have the 6-speed, so what about the rev match paddles? It is unclear on that. Thanks for the look at this option - and huge congrats on the 200k mark!

That coil is called Lenk Winkel sensor. English Angle Sensor for steering wheel. And yea very expensive when that part breaks. No less than 500 bucks.

Congrats on the 200k subs ,,next time you want to do any work with airbags i recomend to disconnect the battery next to pulling the airbag fuse

The torx screw for the wheel is 60 Nm when reusing. New 90 Nm.

Always disconnect the negative terminal on the battery when working with electrical and airbags. You don’t have to deal with the fuse

I knew that was a camaro from the inside for two reasons: one, the GPS screen is straight up and down. That's kind of Chevrolet's thing. Two: the circular vents and where they are put. Three: I just know what the inside of a camaro looks like....

When you re-wrapped the ribbon cable, how did you do that? Or did you have to replace the clock spring all together? My ribbon cables came out while replacing wheel so Im trying to figure out how it goes back together.

I checked out the wild Hammer link to see if I could get one for my 5th gen. They offer nothing for the 5th gen, weak sauce. Love the wheel BTW! Not cool that they don't offer one for the 5th gen. Will this fit on a 5th gen? Enquiring Minds need to know.

That "thing with the ribbons" is called a clockspring. Did you have to get a new one?

Hey! I just bought a 17 2ss and the honk/paddle shifts/ and buttons don’t work, so you think it could be wiring or the clock spring? If so do you know the part number, because I just found one but for non heated, or is there a difference
