Thank you for this. I replaced a Carb, and there are now additional Vent Tubes on the new carb. I will just hang a hose from these or, leave as is while still using the original vacuum lines that are matching the old carb.

We have a Yamaha raptor 80 that would idle and rev up great but when you rode it for a minute or two then it would shut down. Turns out it was a clogged rubber vent hose coming off the carb.

I bought a quingqi 50cc 2 stroke I am working on with the D1E41QMB motor. Previous owner put a new PZ15 carb on and it doesn't run now. It has a vacuum petcock I found out and no line to the pump part. I tested it and it works so just need to know where the line would come from to make it function as it appears the PZ15 doesn't have a vacuum port.

Hello.We have peugeot tkr(2012) 50cc and we want to change stock carb.to Dellorto PHBG 21mm(black edition for 70cc in the future).This scooter has Dellorto oil pump also.Where we must connect oil tube from pump to carb?Thank You.

a little confusing video about vent and vacuum lines on the same oko carb,which came with my scoot(hopped up)which had no overflow tubing,just a vacuum line to petcock fuel valve.im just going to install both top and bottom vent lines below scoot,thanx

this is interesting thanks for explaining this..i have a mini dirtbike in my backyard and it has one of those things at the bottom youd think there would or should be a tube for fuel going through it to soemhwere since its at the bottom but i guess not all it does is leak fuel out of it..seems pretty pointless..the carb i have looks like the one on the far left it has 3 places for tubes to be i cant see the bottom one being an overflow it makes no sense. its at the bottom...ill have to take another look at it maybe theres a screw i need to screw it to stop the gas form leaking out of it ebcasue as of now thats all it does is leak fuel

Just found this vid haha, told me what the extra line is on my new carb, i dont need it and am having trouble getting it started after a.full rebuild, everything is correct, been thru it 5 times now, would having a vacume line engine side stop.it.from working, i have tried to put some metal on there but a.backfire shot it out haha

why does my pwk carb have 2 breathers? why u need two? also has bowl overflow on the bottom. But i need a vacuum line for my petcock... should i drill right through to chamber and tap a thread?

THere are TWO breathers because say you are in a tight turn or the bike is bent over one way or another in a tight corner- if one breather is covered, the opposite breather allows air in the float bowl, so gas can go into the Jets. The bike is not always upright while riding, RH DSD

Your float bowl is stuck. Take the plastic end of a screw driver and tap the float bowl until the gas stops coming out. My Playlists for this Subject contain more videos you might be interested in seeing. I just recently Updated my Entire Channel. Thanks for watching .

helo im having difficulties with my new usd susuki 750 1981 model motocycle i have the fuel lines off the carburetopr n the pekock is stuck on on where does the fuel lines go the carbueretors are all one peice n there are only two free hoes attachment places on the four entire carbuerators , also why wont the gas come out the petcock n how to unstick it .. im very very lost n im desprite to fix iti need a new mode of transport fast

I have a Delorta 19 once, great carb. Usually the capped ports are for Vacuum nipples or Fuel tank Valves in some models..??

Bro I got me one them pwk 21mm same as the oko but it says with power jet where is the power jet I figured it was the screws in the front top of the carb, not the side,, maby you can explain that one ,please, and thank you appreciate the video man....... peace

Thank you for thanking me, making the video. You don't know how many commenters ask a question, demand an answer and never say thank you. R. Now - a regular carb has (2) jets. A Jet is basically a small brass screw with a hole drilled thru it. They are made of brass because the hole in the screw regulates how much fuel can enter the carb and ALL jETS are different sizes , OR - different size holes diameter in the screw. By changing the jet screw and there are many many different (sizes of holes) you can choose from to get the carb to work properly throu out the entire throttle range, idle to WFO throttle (WIDE F#CKING OPEN). Lets back up a minute and let me explain the perfect carb. Technically the carb is an (air-metering device) , It meters the amount of air/fuel that is allowed into an engine at any given time. Technically a perfect Carb set up and adjusted perfect will allow 14 Parts AIR/ to 1 part fuel, thru the ENTIRE throttle range of the engine. The problem is a lot of factors can affect this- Your riding style, your Weight, Your Fuel, Your location, how far from sea level, whether you live in Antarctica, or sub sahara desert and everywhere in between. You see my point. SO you are basically taking a average tuned carb and Fine-Tuning the carb to your racing requirements. OK? the other jet is called an emulsion tube or Idle jet that only keeps the bike idling, as more throttle and fuel is applied, the main jet takes over from about 5% to 100% throttle. The Air/Fuel ratio can change with all the above factors and tuners are always tweaking the carb to make it work the best they can. Please see my Dozens of other carb video on the subject. A power Jet, is a add-on jet you can buy from mikuni and is a completely different animal. I have videos on that too, I hope this helps, RANDY H DSD

I thought the petcock vacuum hose connect to my intake manifold, I have oil Line to one nipple and the other plugged off. Bike dies when vise virus.

I need to know where the line which comes off the motor case ,where does it connect to on the carb? So one line in for fuel got that. And all other, side of carb vent line and bottom line just run nowhere

Vacuum can go to the air box or just let hang. It lets air into the float bowl to equalize air pressure. just make sure the line is not clogged. I have seen little bugs over a winter, make a home in the line and the carb does work because the air cannot flow thru the line to the float bowl. I have a 24mm nibbi pwk carb, it has extra hoses my other nibbi carb only has a drain hose and no other hoses, do I have to use those extra hoses on my new carb?

they are probably vent lines. keep them clear and unclogged. they allow vacuum in and out of the float bowl for the gas. most carbs, OLD Carbs have three lines, a vent on each side of the carb and a float bowl empty line on the bottom.

the back is drill for power jet you should try this I make my own cheap hard ware adjustable needle valve works better then some 100 $ real power jets ,VACUUM LINES going in to the bore in front is new to me but thanks for telling me why

what do you need to know ,is the a place to fit 2 lines on your gas tank if so 1 line goes to the fuel it should be a fatter line on 1 side of the carb and other goes to vacuum on the motor side of the carb if your tank only has 1 line then its a gas line and the other smaller line on the carb is a over flow just let it hung down in a safe place the first type I told you about will have this to then there maybe vent lines to 2 or 4 on a 2 stroke just let them hung down to in a safe place what is you bike called ill look it up

THESE OTHER BIG SCREWS ARE VERY IMPORTANT. THEY TUNE AND ADJUST THE RESONANCE OF THE BALANCED SET OF CHROME MUFFLER BEARINGS. A PROPER TUNEAGE OF THE CHROME BEARING CAN GIVE YOU 20MPH MORE TOP SPEED.

You can run with no hose, but it can get messy. The hoses redirect the overflow gas to below and behind the transmission so you dont drip gas all over the drive belt.

No. A vacuum hose works this way- You have a float bowl used for gas. It is empty of gas but full of air. If- you tried to put gas or petrol or fuel into a container full of air and the air cannot get out, the fuel cannot fill the container. That is why you have vaccuum hoses or air inlet hoses on each side of the carb. It is vital that the one or two vacuum lines are free and not plugged. Fuel goes into the fuel bowl and air is pushed out thru the vacuum hoses. Remember that all these hoses and holes and drill holes and everything on the carb is there For a Purpose. Take your vacuum lines and blow thru them or suck thru them and see that the air passage way is free and clear. I hope this helps. RH DSD KING DIO
