They didn't actually show us anything. Only how to release a coil spring without the necessary spring compressors (that's a tool for working on the strut).

I love FCP Euro life time warranty 💪🏽Can't belive scotto had that stuff the next day from across the states. I live 20min away from them. Any time I go to pick up/replace parts nothing but nice customer and employee cars out there !

the oil will not prevent the wear out of the camshafts on those engines. the camshafts were not been hardened correctly. the oem camshafts will wear out ~60000km. just check the cams by open the camshaft cover and replace the cam (and check valvle clearance). if you replace the cam you should do an oilchange .... and dont use to much silicon on the cover ! the oil pump will love it . you might also use 5w50 (i used mobile 1 rally 5w50 on my 2l 16vt fiat coupe which is basically the same engine. dont try to reinvent the wheel. call the experts in europe and ask! (UK, Germany, italy, netherland )

The bump stop on the Delta has a Fiat logo because the Delta is a Fiat Ritmo/Strada with a lot of work on it. Also, it's the best hot hatch ever!

I know a guy that took a strut spring to the face. I went to automotive repair tech school while in highschool. We were all doing our own thing and a guy is changing out the springs on his car. He has the clamp tightened down so far that he's close to maxing the spring out and all of a sudden the clamp broke. He took that spring to the face. Knocked him off his feet and about 5 feet back onto his back. He got up bleeding and was so out of it he didn't know where he was. I got over to him to help him from causing more damage. He broke his jaw, right orbital socket and they ended up having to get rid of over half of his teeth.

Even a sidelight bulb change on an kettle is front bumper of job. Good job it's only 2 bolts and slides off easy.. Makes access for lots of jobs so much easier.

I love that the most tame Lancia still has classic Lancia/ Italian build flaws as in yyou have to disassemble the front end to get to the oil filter

Ron, you don't need the channel locks and the gloves. just put the tophat finger tight, then install it, after it's installed on the hubs and the top, it won't spin on you. then you zap that top nut tight. and that my friend is how you mount a tophat coilover.

@@TheHoonigans well, i'm italian and have been restoring a delta integrale with a twin charge for the last two years, so in the integrale case it is true. that car has a lot of quirks like the oil filter one, you guys need to be prepared. a great car none the less, most I see are rotten to pieces.

My Grampa did what Scotto did with those Audis but with planes lol he got a Piper Camanche 250 then decided he actually wanted the 400 which he then got but then kept and flew to the day he died. RIP Grampa

With the e30's you wanna lift the front with a jack when bleeding. Often removing the upper rad hose also helps bleed the air

10:54 because this is a race car that was 'dressed up' as a street car so they could race. This is honestly the only car i never gave a frak about working on horrible conditions because unlike every other car where you have to take the whole intake to change your oil filter, The Integrale was built like that because they just didn't even care. You should see the race team leader, he's the Lancia poster boy.

Maybe a little to late but we work alot with kw suspension and other brands and kw sells an special tool to set the nut in the tophat it hold the shaft so it doesn't turn. And you can even easily torque spec the nut

If you read this, and that BMW keeps overheating, it needs to be jacked up at an extreme angle in the front to get the air out of the system. The radiator is lower than the intake, and air gets locked in. Had the same problem in mine.
