The Italian cache is amazing. Ethiopian cache is a roll of the dice at standard price. I have 3 Italians, only my 1st was hand select and they’re all amazing! (will no longer do hand select on Italian). I have one Ethiopian hand select (paid double you did) and very happy. Prob won’t roll dice and only do hand select ethiopia. No bad experiences w RTI, guess I’m lucky

I said the same thing when I purchased the Mannlicher disaster that I got from them. But they redeemed themselves when I got a replacement.

What is the bullet diameter of the Hornady ammo? There is Milsurp Munitions which is subsized by RTI and then there is Bannerman ammo. I am waiting until Milsurp Munitions produce 8x50mmR Mannlicher ammo and buy 100 rounds so I get into reloading with.

Almost all ammo produced nowadays is .264 diameter.

Check out my videos on my m95 mannlicher rifles. I reload for them as well.
@@navyvet7665 Sure thing. I have 4 Mannlichers from RTI. a 2 m95 long rifles, a m95 carbine (or stutzen I think?) and 1888/90. I would say that the muzzle for m95 carbine is worn out because 8mm mauser and 8x56mmR were swallowed up even though there is rifling down. The 1888/90 had a broken firing pin, missing a rear sight leaf and safety lever but it isn't shot out. As for the 1895 long rifles, they were pretty okay.

@tomc6255 8mm Mauser is too small. Your groove diameter is around .330. My experience with RTI M95 rifles hasn't been good. Most are worn out sewer pipes.
