I love cars, I have two of my own that I can enjoy. But the cleaning was always a pain. But being able to watch your videos and learn how to do it right makes me really enjoy putting care into the car. Now I have not only the joy of driving but also the joy of caring.

I always loved that dash board layout in that car and digital instrumentation. It was the coolest one of ALL the Honda's at that time. I almost bought that car just for the digital dash configuration. The whole thing is very futuristic looking and now 10 years later you are seeing a lot more manufacturers using full digital layouts. The CR-Z was ten years ahead of it's time. It took inspiration from the Honda S2000 which has that beautiful full digital layout.

I used to think blank interior was the only way, but I had a brown over wheat car for a few years and the lack of ambient heat and somewhat soothing nature of the interior while being surrounded by it helped on drives. A continental difference between the US and RHD CR-Z is that we didn't get back seats, just hard plastics. Always enjoy the videos, thank you for sharing!

Always liked these little cars, I'm scared of light interiors though. The special edition MX-5 I got last year has nice light stone leather but I fitted some premium black seat covers to stop me getting it filthy, also I don't slide around all over the place. Having very little interior certainly makes the Mazda easy to clean!

Great video, very satisfying indeed, love the Honda too. I'm a big fan of Garage Therapy Interior cleaner for general interior cleaning but must try that TWHS product, looks great. I do use Auto Glyms interiors sanitiser for my boot area re dog carrying, seems to work well. Also have found that using saddle soap and leather conditioner from Australian brand Oakwood works well for me, especially if you remove the residue so that it doesn't leave it too shiny and glossy. Love the videos, great content, thanks.

Completely agree with "no sense of conditioning leather" - makes the surface too slippery and to my experience attracts dirt which then is much more difficult to effectively remove. The coating of the leather is best protected by avoiding it being dirty for too long which results in abrasive dirt particles compromising the surface.

Good job bud. Have you a tube of Honda Shin Etsu grease for the door/hatch seals. Bit pricey but it goes a long way. My 20 year old car is still on its original seals and rubbers everywhere. The stuff is excellent and great for lube on window tracks and wires etc. great vid. 👌
@mightbesherwood1313

Second vote for the Shin Etsu. Great on convertible windows, which tend to build up grime in the seals to the point where you think the window motors might be failing.

Enjoyed this video! I have an idea for keeping your vehicle clean smelling. I stumbled on this process by chance in the spring while visiting Florida with my brand new truck. A rat decided to crawl into the airconditioning and subsequently expired. I had to pull apart the dash to retrieve his stinking remains. Afterwards I pulled out the cabin air filter and put a new one in after liberally spraying it with Febreeze. Now instead of hints of dead rodent I had the pleasant smell of spring flowers. It's been 4 months since that unpleasant experience - the spring flower smell is gone but so is the smell of decayed rat. The truck actually smells new again!

Dodo juice stuff looks quality. Not so keen on that TW Graphene interior stuff. Dash looked very patchy to me. Personally I prefer to use an interior shampoo and then treat my dash with GTechniq Matt Dash. Looks fantastic. But I've gotta say, if that were my car, I'd have those carpets out and retrimmed with a nice off white vinyl to match the trim. Or, failing that, a nice set of diamond car mats and spend some time fitting them under the trim edges properly. So much easier to keep clean.

No, all you should use (if anything) for leather in good condition is a sealant. Conditioners don’t penetrate the protective factory coating and just attract more dirt and therefore wear & tear.

when I first decided to give my steering wheel a good clean I was shocked to find it was previously painted over by some dodgy car flipper and was completely mangled underneath, and so was the driver seat too, until now every time I clean it more and more black paint is coming off and clogging up all my towels, I'm only using purpose made mild leather cleaner/conditioner do not think its some turpentine, buts its melting right off anyways. I'm starting to think the odometer may be tampered with too, if they were dodgy enough to go that far. I'd like to say I'll never buy a used car again but I know I will

If that air conditioner duct sanitizer doesn't do the trick for the musty smell, try an evaporator coil cleaner. You will have to pull some interior panels and maybe sneak a tube down the duct, but I guarantee the musty smell will be gone after that
