Man, this GMC Acadia looks so attractive. Going back to the Traverse in size instead of XT6 dimensions really makes you wonder if you need a Yukon or Escalade after all. This is going to be enough for the majority of buyers. The Lexus TX will definitely have serious competition with this on the way in the luxury 3 row segment.

I'm sure GM will also use this platform on their next version of the Buick Enclave and Cadillac XT6 as well. It worked out great for the Traverse and Acadia, so I'd expect those to be pretty nice updates too.

The passenger space in the third rows of the full size SUVS is much roomier. The 3rd row of this model looks like it would be okay for an adult to sit back there for a trip across town, but not comfortable for extended drives like a road trip, which is why someone might go for the big suv, instead. Plus, if they need 4WD or want to tow a travel trailer, they’d have to get one of the big ones. Then again, the price difference makes the big SUVs unattainable for a lot of people, so they likely can’t even consider one of the big ones. At least there are better 3-row crossover options out today than there used to be.

The exterior and interior of this is a massive thumbs up 👍 The fact it’s cheaper then the new GX is 1000% value because this is nicer inside and out hands down 😱 The vertical display is so much nicer than the horizontal display some companies are doing as well. I was thinking about getting the 2025 4Runner but this is going to be on my test drive list now as well👌

Hmm exterior is a draw between the GX and Acadia. I love the front end on both cars. The side and rear on both cars is okay. Both have some odd angles and design touches I'm not a huge fan off. Now the inside, GMC wins hands down for sure. Just great. Only missing features I see on the Acadia are massaging seats for the front and ventilated seats in the rear. I'd expect those features given this car will cost at least 55-60K.

Beautiful yes, but even after 40 years since Japanese and now Korean cars started being sold in the US, they are still not as fuel efficient or reliable.

The rear taillights are almost identical to the 1st gen GMC Acadia. So that would mean the 10th gen accord copied from the 1st gen acadia Also this new 3rd gen is almost identical in size to the 1st gen Acadia when released. For somereason they went small with the 2nd gen but learned that is not necessarily what people wanted.

Great video and good looking car. This is the goldilox car for me. Not too big and not too small. I don't need a truck based SUV but I need the space. That is the good news. The bads news is that they were supposed to start production in January and then it was late March. Something tells me that is not going to happen. At this point, they might as well start calling it the 2025 Acadia. Either the strike put them behind or they have run into supplier issues or they are executing poorly.

Good choice GM has put the Acadia back on the bigger platform. They lost their way when they went smaller in the 2017-2023 years.

Wished my ‘18 Pathfinder’s CVT lasted longer. Got a ‘23 Pathfinder and it’s nice. The 9 speed works well. I was hoping to pick up an AT4 with the Denali package.

Have a 2021 Acadia Denali and there were a few things we didnt like, especially the location of the push button shifter. This 2024 addresses all of our concerns. Our dealer has them on orderand as soon as they come in guess where we're going!!!

Wow, GM has knocked it out of the park with this vehicle. I've owned to Chevy Suburbans and this size for myself is just right and being able to sit seven people is a real plus. Really curious about this new 2.5 four cylinder engine for towing and MPG.

This Vehicle does not need paddle shifters, it does need a second row heated bench option to carry an additional passenger. Also front side markers lights like those found on the Yukon would improve safety and overall exterior appearance. Save money and eliminate the quad exhaust tips and replacement with circular chrome tips. Great Looking Vehicle!

While I’m not crazy about the vertically-oriented center screen, this is a BIG improvement over the long screens so many cars are now using. I Like the fact that there is an instrument cluster binnacle. This is, after all, a vehicle, and not a NASA control room.

Amazing, the only deal breakers for me would be if it drives bad (power handling) or most importantly, if the infotainment/sound is bad. I must have a really good sound system.

Nice. I'm guessing GM realized that consumers found the downsized prior years' versions too small and wisely returned to the prior platform. We used to drive its Saturn Outlook XR twin, which was a great car and large enough for a family.

The "down-sized" Acadia was meant to give you an alternative to the Traverse and Enclave sized models. Plus better fuel mileage. I think it was too close in size to the Equinox and Terrain for people to consider the price difference to be worth it. Putting a third row (only) in it was ridiculous. Chevy Blazer doesn't have a third row, does it?

It's a shame they ditched the V6. I hope this turbo 4 has a "simulated" V6 sound that comes through the speakers. Similar to what Nissan did to there new 3cyl Rogue. Because the last thing you want is such a masculine looking truck to sound like a tin can lawnmower. Yeah i'm talking about you Ford and what you did to the new Explorer 4cyl models. My 2020 Kia Sorento SX AWD V6 growls better than the 4cyl Explorer.

Unfortunately, these engines are not efficient for this vehicle; at least a 3.0L V6 engine is needed. However, in terms of design, I believe they have done well, both with the exterior and interior designs. And, of course, they use good materials.
