Because of a very lovely comment I got from an1m4l on my
last upload "Wonderland" and because his suggestion that I could
make a cover of "Card Castles in the sky" I decided to give it
a chance and I never had so much fun working on a song. For real O_O
I made this whole thing in just one day and I learned SO MUCH!!!
It's just... This song charmed me!
It's so lovely and by the way, the level where the song belongs to
is the only level in this game, where no enemies are and it's the most peaceful place EVER in this game. Even more peacefully than "Vale of Tears". Which was also a very lovely place.
During the work on this cover I sended the work in progress file to my lovely friend and Forest Elf Jordi and told him that something was missing. Jordi gave me the idea with the framedrum! I'm so grateful to him! This was a wonderful idea!!! hugs Jordi You're the best!
I tried to add this song a ethereal sound, a bit lost, a bit lonely. Like high in the clouds with nothing is under you and you're not sure what can help you or if the cards under your feet really save your life or if they let you fall into nothing. This song is also a bit sad and creepy. I hope I captured that.
The level is like: Alice is running trough the sky with only cards under her shoes and sometimes there where moments in this level where you'd just jump into the nothing and a card appears suddenly under your feet!
Such a great level!!! I'd always a bit scream when my boyfriend (who played this game) let Alice jump into the clouds not sure if there are cards that help you or not XD He was shocked too ^^
What else could I say? I really gave my best for the song and I hope you
like it as much as I do. This one is definitely one of my favourites!!! W
