Doubles in the MOney Cards meant a loss. In 1980, they changed that rule to make it a push, probably due to the pain of players losing several grand on a double two or double Ace.

BUST @ 3:02 - Peggy lost everything after a deuce had to just go and show up at the wrong time.

A double comes up at 2:16. Deuce comes up at the wrong time at 3:02. The second king comes up at 15:46. The king came up at the great time at 20:56

that double lose rule was terrible

Mark Jones that’s the reason I liked the 1986-89 version of card sharks; no win-no loss in the Money Cards throughout the entire run.
