MaroKnight1701 That Illinois player was V'Angelo Bentley, a high school buddy of Cardale Jones. They both went to Cleveland Glenville High. On that play, you can tell by their reactions that they are cool with each other.

Someone should make a movie of the Buckeyes season. Three starting QBS in on season and beating the toughest defense in college football and the Heisman winner. I totally didn't believe they belonged in the playoffs but glad they got in. Alabama would have stomped Bryce Petty and Baylor.

David Mazzini lol nah. how have people still not learned what it takes to make an NFL QB? Cardale throws like 3 routes. he has a cannon but he can't throw across the middle, which is what determines an actually good QB.

mike wolpoff While that is an area of his game that needs some work, if you watched the three games, you'll see that he consistently hit Jalin Marshall on intermediate routes over the middle. Plus, he's only started 3 games, way too early to tell whether he can throw over the middle or not. All I know is that his pocket awareness and arm strength are so good it's ridiculous.

David Mazzini Depends on the team, if he goes to say to a team like the Ravens, Cowboys, Rams, Cards then yes, where they can limit how much he throws.

I swear IDK why !!! but he looks like he is going to thrive in the NFL I honestly think the wide receivers in osu he didn't have Alot of faith in them to throw the kinda balls he threw his previous year. Put this guy on one of these three teams I bet he can make an INSTANT impact bears, jets, or rams

That game against Alabama was more impressive than Johnny Manziel's 2012 game. Cardale ran over this year's top safety Landon Collins. He would have been a steal for a team in the 2nd or 3rd this year. He'll be in conversation for the #1 pick with Christian Hackenberg and Kevin Hogan

People don't consider the negative impact that the departure of OC/QB coach Tom Herman made on that offense as a whole, & to Cardale in particular. Herman went on the rock his division in Houston & the Buckeyes struggled mightily on offense. I believe if a team commits to coming along this young man, he can be an impact player in the NFL. Although he doesn't have the charisma, he does have all the tools that Cam Newton does, & is very similar in size & arm strength. I would even go as far to say that Jones has a better touch pass than Cam did his last season in college.

Cardale Jones played in 23 games for Ohio State, and his record was 23-0 Best quarterback Ohio State has had, and if given the chance they could have won more. Coaching decision to use him sparingly was not smart.

But will they score over *(100)* points in a game? Will Ezekiel Elliot have more than (37) touchdowns? Will Cardale Jones have more than (58) touchdowns? People lets all just calm down and realize that all three Ohio State quarterbacks are amazing, its Urban Meyer's decision who starts, he'll see who's better, at least for the time being, and start them. Say Cardale gets the start, yay, he might go to the NFL an then Coach Meyer will decide who starts the year after. :) easy. That and rushing QB's seem to be the next big thing. Give Johnny Manziel one, maybe two more years, he'll be awesome. RG III might need a little more time though, he's alot riskier.

Cardale will be the starter. Braxton is a finesse runner while J.T. is a finesse quarterback but I just can't believe they would've taken the hard hitting physical championship games like Cardale.

Thing with Jones that I can't stand is that he got extremely lucky on some of his throws. He under throws guys so much when he needs to lead them. For example Alabama game if smith's guy dosent trip and fall that could have been easily a pick.
