My town is recycling cardboard and plastic and stuff by making a town, there’s a few old garden sheds right outside of town so all the kids collect cardboard and stuff from their families and then make furniture for homes and stuff! There’s about 3 and there’s 12 kids total in our town but a few think they’re “too old” to help the younger s with furniture even though some are really good at making cardboard stuff. Me, my best friend, and my sister all live in the same garden shed but we have plenty of room! One of us had some old bunk beds they didn’t use anymore so we spent the whole day moving it into our shed and making it look pretty, (every shed is pretty big, like a garage size!) It’s not like our home but we love having sleepovers in it! Anyways, I started realizing it was a pain to have to go all the way into town and all the way to the market JUST to get food! I saved up my allowance a lot and bought a $60 mini fridge for us, but then I realized we don’t have a counter, so I got an old table I found in the junkyard and we fixed it up, but anyways, I overshare a lot and my mom says it’s because of my adhd, so sorry for sharing so much, but my point is, I’m very happy I can make some furniture! I’m making a lemonade stand out of cardboard so this is helpful.
