@@CardboardBots Eh, Armada's decent, Energon's lousy & Cybertron has *THE* most annoying child sidekicks in all of TFdom. I really wanna slit Bud's throat. Ultimately, all three aren't great, but, they have their moments. Heard the Japanese versions are waaay better. Oh, and Last Knight can burn in hell. Wahlberg being the one to name Grimlock was the final straw for me. :P

There's new stuff.. even combiners. They are quite gaining in quality in some cases. I recently bought a gun Transformer that can fire nerf darts, feels heavy like the original and robot mode looks great. Montoy is the company making them.

I was wondering if I should have kept the talk about budget conscious toy lovers. While it's true that I was pinching pennies at the time and had been abstaining from toy purchases for about a year, I was never in really bad shape. I was setting money aside for much needed roof repairs. I'm happy to say they are done now, but I'm still curtailing my transformers habit as I pay off the renovations. This review was a personal challenge... can I still make fun animated videos that have something meaningful to say without blowing my money on the latest and greatest masterpiece-style toy.

What about ebay?

I didn't mention his face to much other than to say overall that he's very generic. I really don't like that head. There are other KO versions of him with a bit more paint, such as on the grill. I do think most camouflaged army trucks are fully painted matte green, even the grill and bumpers.
