The thing killing vanguard isn't just bushiroad being dogshit at card balance, but also making all of these cool products super rare and hard to get and short printing everything else to the point no one wants to even buy product 😂

Lots of TCGs sell products with high rarity reprints of cards. The key word here being reprints. None of these cards are exclusive to this set outside of the rarity. As the product is titled, this is aimed towards collectors. Most of these cards are found in Trial Decks and Booster sets. Nothing wrong with catering to collectors once in a while. Pokemon and Yugioh do it all the time to the point they sell cards made out of gold! Safe to say that “collectors editions” of card game products are not what lead to their respective game’s downfall. There are other factors at play.

It was units from the Vanguard Deluxe tournament in the anime. Danji didn’t participate in the tournament so there is no Bruce for this collection set.

Its the characters that made it to the Top 8 for the Vanguard Deluxe in the WillDress Anime. So no Danji as he wasn’t a competitor at that time.

This Deluxe set is such a scam and I can’t believe Bushiroad hasn’t addressed the sh*tstorm they’ve been dealing with online for how lazy this set was. You mean to tell me, that for $XXX for the whole set..I can obtain ANOTHER copy of SP Bastion? With zero difference over the original other than the set code on the bottom left? You’re telling me that NONE of these cards are in any way, shape, or form, visibly different such as a new artwork(Like the original Memoir Set) or a well detailed frame that’s different than Frame Rare, but are just JUST basic SP foiling?

There actually is a difference in these SPs. The Deluxe cards have gold in the name text and the twin drive/persona ride symbols are smaller, white, and minimalistic. To get 8 cards (some of them being over $25 on the secondary market at base rarity) for $100 isn’t really a scam for collectors.

@@NexusCorps So they look worse than the First Festival Collection SPs, thanks for letting me know. Its most definitely a scam for collectors, as this is the laziest exclusive set we’ve ever gotten from Bushiroad. Trying to excuse this for “It’s okay because *copium reasons*” isn’t enough to distract this flop. (What’s worse is it didn’t even sell that well at the event because of the low effort, and most online vendors are trying to move them for $100 or lower, because literally no one wants them outside of people I can count on one hand)
