G2 Nemain is 10k with a blaster VG, G Thavas can only retire if the vanguard is the 4th or more swing

Yes it was a 10k, that is why I swung with the 13k Beragios. We were joking about the 5k base. Thavas red text is “when your unit attacks the vanguard, if it’s the fourth battle you chose 3 rears and your opponent retires 1.” So the rear guard’s attack triggers the retire, as long as I swing at the vanguard for the 4th battle.

Excuse me, but thavas stride skill says choose one of your vanguards and it gets the red text, not choose one of your units.
