No. While it is in the trigger zone the trigger effect triggers. This means once it hits the trigger zone you immediately discard 1 card in your damage zone, then declare the recipient of the +5K. Move the Heal trigger to your damage zone. If there are any crits, then check them 1 at a time.

Also, the Kagero and Narukami clans both have units that retire your opponent's rear-guards (some have Grade restrictions). But there are some like that here-and-there in a few clans. If you go to the cf-vanguard site, and put "retire" into the card search box, they will all come up :)

Depends on your build for shadow paladin. Pure phantom blaster dragon is the most costly to your card advantage at -3 per use. Phantom blaster overlord is only -1 but its a specific card and it costs 3 counterblast instead of 2 like PBD and Ildona. speaking of, Ildona costs -2 to +2 and gain some power, but its a limit break so you can't use it in mid game. Royal paladins are more of a swarm deck, relying on many troops that support each other. Because of this they can search and superior call.

Both are fairly expensive as far as the game goes. Shadow paladins typically focuses a lot more on aggression than anything else. The price is higher if you want to build Phantom Blaster Dragon now and Phantom Blaster Overlord when set 5 comes out. An alternative that is much more inexpensive would be an Ildona build. OTT from what i've seen is around the phantom blaster dragon deck price (I may be incorrect). OTT's have tsukuomi, the witches and amaterasu. All can be amazing when done right

@Jeremy Dupas Except for the fact he said in the video he doesn't have any stand triggers in his deck. Your right that attacking with a rear guard first is a basic strategy, but he went more offensive by taking out stand triggers and replacing them with more critical triggers.

Ahh, this shows how strong Shadow Paladins really are. Even without the ride chain, he still managed to win. This is why i love Shadow palis.

Smartguy5526 is right, Painters and White rabbit skills are a must to activate even though it says up to 1, you can't pick 0 because that would be the same as not activating the skill.

The difference between CFV and other card games is that in other card games you rely on decks to win, with the META always changing and the more expensive decks are usually the best decks. In CFV you rely on experience, because there is no real META. That aside, I still enjoy playing different games like CFV, YGO, MTG etc.

Well SP is the equivalent to ghost rare in yugioh, or at least pretty close, so of course its going to be worth more. From what it looks like the regular triple rare for Spectral Duke is going for around $25. Usually that's the highest any card for a deck will go for, but some people are willing to dish out extra money for higher rarity. For the most part, Vanguard is a cheaper game "in comparison to Yugioh." It used to be that Pot of Duality went for $165 back when it was only a secret rare.

several reasons 1. good money spend (cheaper than yugioh) 2. good profit (stuff you pull out of a pack worth the same as the $ you spend on the pack or even more) 3. good pull (5 cards per pack but guarantee worth something in a deck, unlike yugioh even when you pull a super or ultra it'd worth shit $)

this game is so interactive with not only your hand of cards, but interactive with even your damage, your fucking Damage! It just depends on the deck you get. Then when you understand the way to set up your field, you'll understand just how fun this game'll be and just how much luck is dependant in this game. Actually, Painter's skill is NOT a must use. That's why it says "up to 1" meaning you can choose to send 0 cards to soul. Trust me, I've studied the game quite a bit.

Get your fav like i did, got royal and built it up like a pro and became a strong player. If u want a strong deck the best trail would be kais kergo but keep in mind if u don't play your fav clan u will regreat it later on when your deck doesn't love u(heart of the cards dude) also look at wal-mart before u buy somewhere else, at mine all vanguard is 50% off now

also unlike yugioh there are no one turn games this game requires enough strategy to find out just how hit your opponent and most of the time getting to grade 3 is one of the best ways to do it

Nobody likes having triggers of a clan they don't use so that's 16 out of 50 cards right there. Then the vanillas are only worth like 2 dollars at the most, so getting them is easy (24 our of 50) The commons will usually be easy trades...so really as long as you know how to trade and spend, you can make just about any deck for less than 20 dollars. I started off spending 40 dollars, then I started trading to get the cards I wanted...and now I'm using a deck that's worth about 200.

you mean "crossride" when you ride another grade 3 to the vanguard circle, the other grade 3 unit going to your vanguard soul. it's called "crossride"

At about 11 minutes why does the player on the left attack the rear guard? You know he has tom in hand so he doesn't care if you attack the rear guard, if something dies he has better in his hand. I think the play should have been to attack the vanguard and force another 5k shield out of his hand.

its made by the makers of yugioh and duel masters. It's a good game with a great anime that has a youtube channel, it has alot of ads and bushiroad is already kinda famous. The card art is done be some famous mangaka sometimes and even if its not it is still great. there's more reasons but that should be enough just because you're stupid doesn't mean it's hard to understand.
