God I love Masanori's ENG voice so much, the fact it's the same VA as Shin to match with the JPN version makes it even better.

Say what you want about him, he joined partly because of Zorga. I don't know about you, but that is the most acknowledgement of the units being real in this universe of Vanguard since yuya almost burned himself.

The dub definitely does better at original dialogue. That line “Coming soon to a toy store near you!” is peak comedy, but also a little creepy considering it’s a living doll. Another thing to note is how the game has grown and matured for them to willingly say screw a lot. Guess even the audience has grown with the series.

Suo's actions has lead to Future Hikari's existence to stop him from wishing to never exist. To me, I feel like Suo is weaponizing his own despair, I hope someone stop him.

Because he lost everything that day. Yes outside people can think that way, but hes mentally broken and his mind isn't in a good place.

Realistically he's gained an awareness of death due to his trauma; same reason why he doesn't want friends or to connect with others is because he knows living = suffering subconsciously so everything will be counted a loss when he loses them eventually (e.g.; even if his parents came back he'd lose them again one day) and he's retreating from the pain of death. Hence wishing nothingness
