Cardi may not be waiting for Nicki album to drop but Atlantic sure is. Cardi first album wasn't announced until Queen got an official date. There's no reason why Cardi as a new artist should be waiting this long to drop an album unless you're waiting for Nicki. The label wants the albums to Duke it out basically, it'll get the world talking. Also notice how last year when Nicki said she's gonna release her album in December and Cardi popped up and announced she's gonna drop her album in January. Nicki never released and Atlantic followed suit. It's obvious. But I wouldn't have thought she was copying Nicki simply off her mentioning the album.
