They did such a great job with 127 Hours! I listened to his book on Audible, then went back and watched the movie, it's practically word for word, and the part of him cutting his arm off was exactly the way he described it in the book. I could feel my own arm reacting to it. Was super creepy!

My mother had her gall bladder removed in 1979. For a couple of weeks afterwards she would cry in her sleep and we would have to gently awaken her. She was dreaming that people were standing around her laughing while she slept and that she couldn't wake up. I believe she must have had some degree of awareness during her surgery that she afterwards forgot.

He was a bit surprised and said it's torniquet. Then I saw a screen to my left where they were drilling a bone, I felt a weird vibration, my teeth made a sound like I would have had cold. At that point I realised that's me, my bone what they are drilling. Also the "washing machine" on my thigh started to hurt too much so I asked for some soothening, the dude next to me placed a mask on my nose and mouth... and more I don't remember...
