Says a lot when less than 1 minute of unfinished Cardiacs music played down the phone on a radio show is the best new thing I have heard in years. What an unbelievable band.

I heard some tracks from it. Only backing tracks. No vocals, but lovely Cardiacs in top Cardiacs form. Among the tracks was an instrumental cover of The Who's "Happy Jack." Not all finished. It was all covered in red paint.

I've heard it too

Do you know if Tim recorded any vocals for it other than the stuff from Ditzy Scene and Vermin Mangle?

You can hear the interviewer chuckle a little bit during the second song. That's what this music does to me, just chuckle in disbelief at how good it is.

These tiny snipets sound so promising. It's such a shame that we might never hear what Tim envisioned with them... 2:29 3:13 (for future reference)

Ideally, the many wonderful Affectionate Friends would finish it off according to Tim's guidance, and it will get released in some form. "There's no hurry is there" says Tim at 1.20. /me cries

I read somewhere LSD was almost finished and would eventually see the light of day in some form. But yes, after all this time it seems unlikely.

Considering that we got On the Dry Land and the Spotify description implies this, we might get it one day. Time will tell

Some Cardiacs bandmates and friends released a charity album to help Tim pay for medical expenses. Just making sure everybody knows. www.thegenepool.co.uk/items/627.htm

Turns out there were no strokes (nor heart attacks), but a full blown cardiac arrest (as ironic as that might be) that did all that damage to him. That said; FUCK cardiac arrests... in the bum...

@@fcamiola This will sound awfully silly, but, you know the placebo effect? maybe being associated with the term Cardiac payed off in the end, in a very sad and ironic way.
