@@Grauskegg Sorta like Halloween? My mom is against celebrating Halloween, she says it's "evil". She's very "christian", BUT, we are all destined to die. Nobody likes to lose a loved one to death, BUT, it will happen to us all eventually. We don't have to LOVE that, BUT, I can understand WHY we celebrate Halloween. It is when the plants have died down and went to "rest" until spring. It is used in context of our lives in both Halloween and the Dia de Muertos celebrations. I will admit that I know only a small bit about Dia de Muertos, and it is from TV, masks are put on and maybe even a parade. That's about all I know. I think min Brtitain they have a "wickerman" party, they burn down a big wooden stick made man. I may have the whole "wickerman" timing messed up though, I THINK it happens in Fall. One of my favorite bands "Iron Maiden" has a song "wickerman", and so does the lead singer of Maiden (in his solo career) sang a different song "wickerman". If you like metal music, you likely know all about Maiden and Bruces solo career.

Ghost has changed a lot. Tobias has come very close to his goal. The staging is well done. As for the music and the type change of Papa Emeritus, Papa Emeritus the 2nd is still my favorite.

I agree. I thought Papa II always looked more sinister. Plus, Secular Haze was the first song I heard from Ghost (when they released the video) - all versions of Papa & the Cardinal are great but Papa II holds a special place to me in the Ghost lore.

As the cardinal he was very flamboyant but if you noticed he did hardly move at all once he took one the persona of papa IV. Of course this was only one song on day one so there is plenty more to come Im sure. I’m just happy to see him with his skull paint on finally. He has earned it in my opinion

Heather Bradley this is very true. That’s what I was meaning when I said it’s only one song, lol. I’m sure we will get some of his personality when he is dressed down but I don’t think it will be quite as much. I could be wrong though. This will be the first time we have seen someone “move up” from cardinal to papa so honestly we don’t know what kind of “restrictions” will be put on him now that he hold a higher title. Either way it’s gonna be fun to see

Kind of like James Bond, whichever one you grew up with is your favorite. I discovered Ghost during the reign of Papa III, so he is my fave, just like I’ll always have a soft spot for Roger Moore. Oh, yeah, and Tom Baker, for those fans of British TV
