Thanks Coach, Wisenhunt may have been the coach for that super bowl run, but we all knew who really buuilt that team.

I'm a Bears fan, but need to add this anecdotes. My dad passed away a few years ago, and we had always bonded over our love for the Bears. I remember being on the exact opposite emotional roller coaster as Cardinals' fans watching this game and the press conference with him. After the line in the Bears' fight song that goes, "[...] and let them know why you're wearing the crown!" my dad started adding, "Crown their ass!" to the song, a tradition I carry on to this day. Every time the Bears score and I hear the fight song play, I am reminded of my dad. And it's all thanks to Dennis Green.

After the game, this was the longest walk to Blue parking ever. Then to get in the car and hear Denny cement the moment… I’ll never forget this game.

As a young Cardinals fan, this series is awesome to see and learn about our past.

Denny gave us Fitz, I'll forever love him for that.

I love this series and I think this was my favorite episode. It brings a smile to my face to see all the guys from the past. RIP Coach Green.

Say what you want but Coach Green is just as responsible for the Cards Super Bowl run as Whisenhunt was if not more. The 2004 draft alone brought uber talent to this team: Larry Fitzgerald, Karlos Dansby, Darnell Dockett, Alex Stepanovich, and Antonio Smith were all drafted that year. 2005 brought in Antrel Rolle and JJ Arrington. 2006 brought us Deuce Lutui and Leonard Pope. Then Green brought in Kurt Warner & Edgerrin James. All of these players contributed to the Cards Super Bowl run.

Great presentation!! Bears fan from birth (literally…my grandpa was best friends with Sid Luckman so my siblings and I are fortunate enough to have a ball signed by the entire team from the year of our respective births), here with an anecdote about that game. My grandfather had passed away the previous week and our family was in Illinois for the funeral that day. The entire group ended up in one of our hotel rooms eating deep dish while watching the game. The Bears were 5-0 at that point so the first 2/3 of the game was shocking but, with the defence (including my fave, Brian Urlacher) and Devin Hester, we didn’t feel like the game was over quite yet. As the comeback started and continued to be fueled by the defence and special teams, it really started to feel like something special was happening. When Arizona missed the FG attempt at the end, there were two thoughts in our hotel room: 1) that was the type of win that happens to a team that will go far (I actually called it that night that they were going to the Super Bowl, but I wasn’t sure how they would actually win it with Grossman at QB) and, more importantly; 2) Grandpa and “Uncle Sid” had SOMETHING to do with how the game turned around in the last 20 minutes (similar to how Walter Payton MUST have helped deflect the FG kick by the Packers, for the Bears to win the first game after his passing).

As a 49ers fan who REALLY feels "we let them off the hook" today, glad I found this video. Dennis Green was always unfairly treated over these comments. Good luck to the Cards for next season.

I was at the game and watched the press conference on the big screen in the “red zone”. And ended up getting a license plate in AZ “crownem”. The craziest bears game I’ve ever been to

Mike Tirico explained what “crown ‘em” meant. Coach Green was referring to the comparison of that 2006 Bears team to the ‘85 Bears during a pregame production meeting the ESPN crew had with Coach Green. The Cardinals hung with the Bears in the preseason so there was no reason to crown the 2006 team. Except the Bears’ freelance writer brought it up. RIP Coach.

I was at this game. It was wild because I'd say more than 1/2 of the Bears fans left the game at halftime.. We waved them goodbye.. It was amazing.. only to come running back in even drunker in the 4th qrtr from the parking lot... and it was then awful. The NFC Championship game against the Eagles was VERY similar.. just a WAY happier ending.

That was a great game. The Cardinals thought they had it sewed up and then Brian Urlacher said "no effing way."

This was wonderful. I remember that game so well. I live in Ohio and I had an early business meeting the next day. I went bed right after Rackers missed the FG. Next morning, my partner asked about the game. I said I didn't really want to talk about it, but he was like, "Everyone on the radio is." I went to bed too soon. I am glad to see that everyone could have some good laughs come out of it.

This game was on my birthday, thanks coach Green gift that keeps on giving.

I wish the bears would make a series like this!!! This got me so hyped for Sunday’s game against the cardinals!! They’re gonna whoop our ass but maybe we can catch a miracle likes it’s 2016 ;)

My best friend is a Bears fan, and I adopted them as my third team after the Cardinals and Jaguars, but he loves to taunt me about this game at least once a year. It gets damn personal for me (not so much him) when Cards and Bears play each other. Fitting that this was uploaded Bears week 2021. GO CARDINALS!!!

I wish live betting had been a thing back then. I remember watching this game with my roommates in college and all of them were getting excited as the Cardinals went up 23-3 because our dorm was mostly Bears fans and they were sick of hearing about how great the Bears were. I told them, "Calm down; I've seen all this before. The Cardinals are going to lose this game." Never for a second did I believe victory was even a possibility for Arizona in this game.
