Half of these aren't even cardio. And the ones that are aren't represented at their maximum potential. The form on those burpees is...questionable, and those squats aren't particularly beautiful either. Furthermore, pushups aren't really cardio unless trained for endurance (20+ reps), and if you're aiming for fat loss, which is why most people do cardio, then you probably cant do 20+ clean full ROM pushups. This would result in a lot of half-reps, increasing the risk of injury and removing a big part of why pushups are done. Pushups are done to target the Mid Chest, Lower Chest and Triceps, and modifying hand positions, elbow flaring, and much more can greatly affect the results of such exercise. If a beginner does lots of Half reps with poor form, they'll likely being making minor changes every rep, becoming inconsistent and minimising potential gains. If you wish to do pushups, I'd recommend looking into how different modifiers affect the results and intuitively deciding whats best for you. Have small triceps? Flare you elbows less, or maybe try Sphinx Pushups (theyre hard so try on your knees first). Have a pathetic chest? Flare you elbows more and try different elevations to target different parts of your chest. Heck, you can even work your BICEPS using pushups! Supernating the hands puts extra tension on the biceps, also inadvertedly giving you a PLANCHE progression - Psuedo-Planche Pushups.
