Many of us buy plants online and it has become very easy now a days to do so. But many times these plants fail to survive and for not apparent reason. Watch this video as I list down some care and tips you need to keep in mind after you buy plants online.

Every time your video surprises me coz you won't believe it but I feel like you read my mind .... yesterday me and my sister bought few plants online as a gift for our mom for women's day .....I was actually wishing it would be good if there is a video which will help her in taking care of plants bought online...she is an orthodox Gardner I meant kind of old school where she believes in touching, checking and buying plants .... Thanks for sharing tips, Maine do baar online plants purchase kiye, first time damage plant mila but second time nursery live se succulents mangaye bahut hi achha experience raha. Please aap video daalne ka time evening kar len ya koi day fix kar len, kyu ki morning 9o'clock ke baad jyadatar log dekh nahi pate.

I once bought a calathea and a stromanthe triostar online in winter... repotted those as soon as delivered.. and then killed those 😢 Now I know what to do and what not to👍👍

same thing happened to me with english ivy. i have also seen sellers sending different plants, and the plant is too young to distinguish or get the right ID. once its grows a bit then i realized that its not what i had ordered.

Thank you for the information as this was much needed for me. I was planning to buy few plants online but had my inhibitions. Also, if possible, can you provide a link to buy English Ivy? As you said most of them sell Senecio Marcoglossus (Wax Ivy) as English Ivy. I badly want an English Ivy!

Hi, I m living in bangalore. The main problem i m facing right now is from where to buy terracotta pots. Bcz in bangalore all nurserymen said that they replace terracotta pots with cement pots., which for me doesn't work. Are u also facing the same problem in Mumbai

If you can, try using a "maath" a terracotta pot used to keep water cool, now that summer is starting, there are people who sell them on roadside as well (atleast in mumbai)

The first thing to do when buying plants online is buying from good, reputed sellers. It's half the battle. They ensure you get healthy plants and are also helpful with care.
