I always respond to this question with "sure, where would you like me to start?". I find the original question to be too open-ended, and it's questions like that which can lead to waffling which, in my experience, then makes me feel more nervous because I feel like I sound ridiculous. So, I nudge them for a bit more direction. Should I start with my education, career, hobbies? I also feel like it demonstrates a good level of being able to direct conversations and lead them in a way that is more productive for yourself; particularly useful in roles such as sales!

My dearest Richard, all of your content is brilliant! I must share with you that after spending 2 weeks preparing myself for the interview and memorizing my answers to the most common questions I wasn’t even allowed to introduce myself! I couldn’t believe it! 😱😱😱 The panel members went straight into their 6 questions and didn’t even provided a chance for me to tell them WHY I wanted to work there or why me!! I inserted some of that at the end, I had to. They did asked me to ask questions which I did used your smart questions, but that was it so I’m waiting to hear back, hoping to get an offer!

WHERE WAS THIS VIDEO 6 WEEKS AGO WHEN I NEEDED IT?! Great video, this is what for recently graduates and job seekers.👍 Idiot me answered half of that with things about myself that weren't related to work or help me get in, so I failed the job interview. Made me so sad.😭 Got put on the waiting list, which means NO. The waiting list means you got buried 6 feet under. And if they tell you they'll keep your info 3 months up to 3 years that's even worse, that mean you can't even reapply when another of that position is open.
