In todays video we start a new build series. We are going to turn this brand new 28ft cargo trailer into our dream crawler hauler/camper. But step one, is seeing if we can even get my monster truck of a jeep inside.

so.. i actually did the same thig you did. I put in heat.. AC... insulated the walls.. recessed LED lights. adding a fridge.. a toaster oven.. a microwave.. a cell service booster.. and a 55 inch tv. soon to add speakers. I have a pop up propane heated shower. I couldnt justify a 50k toy hauler sitting in my driveway 90% of the time. I can fit my jeep and a small rzr.. or 2 rzrs. it works perfect for me

EXACTLY. 2 questions, what did you do for insulation and how good does it work. And did you do any ramp reinforcement for the jeep?

@@BackyardBeaters I used foam board insulation. Its easy to cut to fit where you need it and stands up to shifting well. I didnt have to because i have other ramps I can attach and use. I honestly usually just have 2 rzrs in it because I have a flat bed trailer as well and theres usually a big group of us that go so I have yet to run into an issue on that front. I definitely wouldnt trust the ramp gate alone.

@@BackyardBeaters also.. have you thought about adding some cheater ramps to your wheel well structure? youll be surprised how much your jeep will move that trailer around when loading it in.. instead of having to crawl up it.. an easy coast to the top and back down may save you some headache down the road with things flexing.

When is that last browns camp trip going to be up i can’t wait to see what the outcome of that trip looks like both of us samurai crew are waiting to see
