Well it its probably one of the safest planes now due to all of the scrutiny it got from its grounding.

Well actually CAL owned by both Trinidadian and Jamaica government however the Trinidadian government owning the majority stake.

Unlike the 737 ng which is the plane that they flew before this aircraft offers much better leg room. They also offer extra leg room seats for a premium price.

They receiving their first plane in novemeber and the first flight was in january they are slowly introducing these planes to their routes.

Hi Kaos, Business class has the most comfortable seats and plenty leg room, however there is the option to book Caribbean Plus seats which allows for more leg room than economy. The choice is yours. Enjoy. - Marie

If all fairness compaired to other airlines caribbean airlines offers pretty substantial leg room to economy passengers. 30 inches of leg room is quite a lot.

It was globally mandated that boeing has to fix the aircrafts and ava adminstration mandated that all pilots had to be trained to handle the mcas system that caused the malfunctioned in the planes that crashed.

It's the MAX8, but there's some stigma associated with the MAX brand.

They are just trying to move past the horrendious past of the max 8 howveer when you book a flight it makes you fully aware that you will be flying a max 8 so you can opt out if your are not comfortable.

You get what you pay for i guess. They offer free wifi so you can watch stuff on their app or stream your own entertainment.

Yeah i wish they followed form that the airbus 321 neo has with personal in flight entertainment. At least they offer free wifi onboard for streaming on your personal device.

100% agree with the IFE part. The competitors all have IFE screens in economy. American's 737 Max 8 and Jetblue's A321 Neo (which I've both been on) are way better imo.

Yes because there is not inflight entertainment in economy class they offer free wifi and access to their carribean views app for a small selection of movies and shows to stream on your personal device.

You are not observant, these software issues were sorted out when this model was taken out of service for 2 years.

I hope soft ware r update and the pilot can train in handle it well what guaranty the passenger have

@@theobserver1219 modifications are done to airplanes all the time mate, especially after a disaster. the same was the case with the 800s, they had problem that was modified in the early 2000s. the DC10 and MD 11s also went through modifications after severe catastrophes as well as many other models like the airbus that crashed in france due to a computer auto pilot error, but now it’s been modified and is flying for decades now incident free.

After all of the scrutiny this plane has its probably one of the safest aircrafts out there. Boeing has to invest time and money to make chnages and airlines had to have their pilots attend mandatory training for the new systems on these planes. Pilots are better equipt with the knowledge to deal with the mcas system.

This problem was fixed. The max has been operating for over a year without any issues.

The issue was resolved and all pilots have been trained to deal with any malfunctions. The main issue with the planes before is the mcas was new and pilots didnt know how to deal with the system.

GUYANA should get other airline service from Canada to Guyana, we desperately need that. Carrebian airline just taking advantage of Guyanese going home,you get a death and see the result.

Majority of the airlines globally "majority" are changing the name from MAX-8 to just -8 it's, literally the same plane and nothings wrong with that even Boeing is calling it the -8 time to time but if u want to refer to the whole family it's call the "MAX" just like how the 737-800 and 900 700 and so on are the "NG" and the 300 400 the classics
