Hey guys, so this is a review on the carista obd reader also you will see what sort of customization you can make with it, I will be giving this unit away all you have to do for a chance of winning it, is to like subscribe and comment below 👍 💥 Good luck 💥

The 1.4 are really good engines never had any problems with them and they can produce a decent amount of power, only problem I find is finding modifications for them. 💪💥

Might sound like a stupid question. Not really a massive car person. I see that this works on a subscription. Do you just plug this in the car, make all the changed then unplug and the changes are saved? Or do you need to keep this plugged in and keep on paying the subscription? Thanks in advance

Carista saved me hundreds of dollars in dealership programming charges! I have a 2008 LS460 and NOW FINALLY I can program my lights, TPMS, and other settings that the dealership charges $189.00/hr. Notwithstanding, I just leave the single donggel plugged in. Cheap. Total startup costs under $60.00. Economical!!!

Hi, I have a Seat Leon 2015 & I’d like to know if carista would be able to enable my LED lights to come on, when I unlock my car? at the moment I need to put my key in before the LED lights come on….

It's good that SEAT have made about 95 percent of this customisable through the normal system menu on the mk3.5 CUPRA 👍

Is carista work on 71 plate Taracco xcellence lux as UK specs diffrent than rest of the eu models. Some features has been disabled hence all the gadgets there thanks

Love that it lets you link the parking sensors to the screen! Do you know if this will be able to let you enable the parking sensors to link up to the screen on the 2018 ibiza fr too?

Hi mate, i don't see why not but not to sure as i haven't tested it out on a Ibiza, but always worth a try as it i will have loads of over little programs you can do with it

Hi Ryan. I hope you and your family are well during these challenging times. I have a mk3 Leon (15 Reg). I have been trying to find out if Carista will allow me to change the interior ambient door lights to red, regardless of which driving mode is selected (normally red is only active when the sports driving mode is selected). Would you happen to know the answer to this question?

I'm regards to the light i have managed to do it but only though OBDeleven I don't think you can do it via Carista unfortunately, if you have a OBDeleven device mate I can send you the coding on how to do it let me know. @@ryanpowell5947 Thank you for finding the time to get back to me during these unusual times. I've got an OBDeleven on order now but I might need to wait a while for it to get here. Ordered it last Monday and I think it's still on mainland Europe. No hurry though, I have my health. Yes, if you could send the coding please. That would be a great help. Many thanks and take care.

The 1.4 engines are really good had no problems with them and they produce a lot of power, 💪💥 you know never know mate might have one by the end of next week 👀

Hi mate, Sorry by start up do you just mean the exhaust? if so it a remus system with a straight through pipe but still have the cat, it is called Torque pro it is in the google play store and you will need to link it with Carista :) hope you have a good Christmas mate :)

Hi mate I believe it does get recorded in some way I'm not to sure but everything can be put back to normal just have to remember what you have changed, I never had it glitch out on me

Great video, should have shown the rear drl mode on taillights. Someone activated a few options on our Leon before we purchased it, rear drl wasn't done though so I need to buy one of these to activate it.

Hi mate it's not to bad to be honest, of course it's going to go a bit up but I payed about an extra £200, insurance is a difficult one though because so many factors effect it. Thanks mate appreciate the support 👍💥

Hi mate, what coding device do you have? if it is Carista then you have to activate green screen mode from Carista, then go onto you actual center console hold down you toggle button for about 10 sec should be the second screen that pops up and then got to skins and you should seat sport press that and you should have it, if this doesn't help mate give me a message on Instagram as i have a short vid on how to do it i will send it to you

For seat leon Can you add the setting that when you press unlock on the key the daytime running lights turn on aswell, as with my car they don't turn on and I dont have auto lights

On a PAYG mobile does it cost to download the ap? i'm guessing when downloaded if you're on WIFI it doesn't cost to make the changes with the AP?

Hi mate, you can download the carista app on the WiFi and then you can use the app anywhere without a WiFi connection unlike OBDELEVEN which requires a internet connection to use it 👍

Hi mate thanks really appreciate it, in regards it reading the BHP you can download 3rd party such as torque pro app which will give you a BHP read out while you're driving, it's doesn't get it bang on put will give you a pretty good idea, also measures 0-60 time 👍

Hi mate I would say with Carista no as it is tested coding and basic coding that can be reversed, all ways best to check with your dealer though

No I haven't tried that on mine I believe you will have to have the facelift model of the Leon, also I don't think you can it on carista I know you can do it on OBDeleven though

Hi mate, In a nutshell Carista is very basic mods and does it for you so less can go wrong, where as OBDELEVEN is a long coding device and i find find fault better then carista, Personally i prefer OBDELEVEN

Hi mate, you should be able to do that standard, you have to hold the lock button down for a bit then they should go in, however Carista can turn it to one click :)

Hi mate, yeah any codeing you do during that free month trial stays on, however if you did want to turn it back Normal are the free month you would have to purchase the subscription

cat will say not ready because it's not at operating temperature so your emissions will be higher than normal

Hi mate, you pay a monthly/yearly subscription with carista and then you get access to all the coding they offer, or you get the beta version which gives you access to everything and more but for a limited time

Does your 1.4 have two cylinder mode?

Hi mate yeah it does can switch between 2 cylinder and 4 cylinder depending on driving style

Or is the ACT model like mine I'm looking at getting the same exhausts fitted but it says not suitable for ACT any clue on if it can still be installed

Yeah it's the ACT model, the only problem you get is a very noise drone inside the car when is switches to 2 cylinder mode other than that it should be fine, you can unplug one of the 4 wires on top of the engine to stop the ACT being active all you get is a warning light and your stop start doesn't work

@@nijamuddin4037 you don't need to keep the adapter plugged in or keep paying the subscription in order to keep the changes you have done. It is the first option you have described- plug the adapter, connect to the app, do the changes and then unplug the adapter :).
