Someone send this to Jake Adams. He said on Reef Therapy that if your phosphate is 5, might as well just start over. Meanwhile Carl run it at 4. 😂

I own an LFS in Omaha. I have a few of those mushrooms. Bought em on a wholesale site on discount. They didnt come in like that but they're some of the coolest I've seen. Good theres more out there! This tank is very inspiring!

The dedication to such an amazing set up That set up would keep me awake at night I wonder about fail safes and relying on the electronics and the internet while I wasn't home gives me shudders thinkin about it 🙃🙃 truly incredible makes my little 40 g look like a guppy tank! 🤣

This video just popped up for me and I thought that can be Carl swaybe but it is which is amazing to see he is still reefing and still has an incredible tank I first saw Carl and his tank from an interview on a site called reef videos meany years ago. has to be at least 15 plus years ago I watched that video .that site was my go to for meany years for reef inspiration and content .

Great video and beautiful tank! PS I can’t wait to be able to order from you guys again! Recently dealt with an algae bloom caused by something unknown! Sadly the algae got bad enough to kill all my corals ): but I finally destroyed it.

I do a 15 gallon water change weekly on a 55 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump Muxed reef. I hate testing and buying water every week gives me a chance to buy more coral. Ive found that the water change takes care of alot of nutrient export and chemical adage.

This tank is a gem, I had a crash couple weeks ago from not paying attention (nursing school) lost over 1k in sps and couple NY nicks, hoping to make a recovery lol will visit fragbox in few week once placement is done ahah, liking the new video style.

I remember Carls tank from 10+ years ago. Someone did a video and posted on Aquarium Pros or something. He had a taller tank then that was crammed with SPS all on pegs so he would move them around easily.

march one thing ive noticed about anemones is they love spots under power heads i have a hatian and a carpet nem and they are both under my power head i do tend to run higher flow bcz of my lighting

Very impressive reef. Carl actually build my first sump way back in 2006 and his 150? at the time was one of the first big home reefs I ever saw. This one is going to look way better once it's all grown in.

He mentions the two versas are synced, if you are adding the same amount your taking out shouldn't effect ATO.

What was the n03 I was really interested into hearing his parameters phosphate was 4. Wat was temp? The rest? Ph he said was about 8.4 i think. 400 gallon system with 2.5 gallon water changes every day like wow

Great tank. Love the dimensions and the stone on the outside. He needs to share how he does the spinning current thing. That idea destroys every other idea I have seen for peninsula tanks. The scape is great. I really would like to know what that red sps you liked was. I gotta find that one for sure. Great video.

@@Slick_Reefing Wavy sea is no longer in business, it sucks bc they used to make nozzles that go 360. i use Seaswirls and seasweeps, which are expensive but worth it more than 90% of the junk we buy.

The copperband butterfly fish has some issue with its eyes. It's extended out of its socket might want to treat that before it gets worse.

So he said Phosphates were 4.0 in the video and in the description you said Phosphates were 0.4. Which is correct? I’m assuming it’s 0.4 as 4.0 seems wild.

Amazing set up. Tank looks beautiful and super healthy fish. Disagree on the mastertronic been running mine for over a year fantastic machine. It does require a bit of maintenance but it’s the best out there at the min. More of these March love it.
